Sacred Sites Survey--Danby State Forest

 Since the publication of Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT,ONT) That Changed the World I have been surveying other places that have Fields of Consciousness (FOC) to add when I write a revised version.

 A few weeks back I visited Danby State Forest south of Ithaca, NY.

I have known about a few of the FOC's at Danby for some time. However, I did not include them in Sacred Sites because I was not able to find one particularly sweet spot. A place I discovered 12-14 years, but a place that has been elusive for me to find again. Particularly, since I had a fairly accurate idea of where it was. It is odd how you can find yourself misguided, or bothered, or just don't have it when you are in the woods at times; as if something was messing with you.

Below are some pictures from the FOC's near the Comfort Road/Bald Hill Road intersection.

My backpack is resting on the high point. A stacked 3 (S3) where 3 FOC's are stacked on each other.

Less that 200 yards away was the sweet spot. An S8 with an incredible vibe. While it did not have a Natural Vortex, it did have a vortex ring--picture immediately below. There was also a blind spring. Very nice.

I next went to a place I found via map dowsing that was several miles away. Map dowsing involves looking at map while holding your L-rods as if you were in the woods. I also use pictures to find places.

Below is a location near Trevor Road not far from the Finger Lakes Trail. It is a S*, the vibe was neutral to slightly positive.

What is so interesting about this picture is how the FOC seems to be in a clearing surrounded by trees. Earth healers and gemancers will tell you to look for openings surrounded by trees as possibly having an aspect of Mother Earth or where activities took place.

All in all it was another great day out in the woods with our Mother.

Sacred Sites Update-- Muller Hill, Georgetown, NY

Yesterday I visited Muller Hill for the first time in a few years. My review of Muller Hill is located on pages 162-177 of Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT,ONT) That Changed the World.

The thing I noticed first was that the Finger Lakes Trail's Link Trail had lost much of its vibe;.It went from slightly positive to positive, down to neutral. This could be because of several factors; most likely because of the vibe of people walking the trail, or activities conducted on or close to the trail, such as hunting. Hunting is particularly pernicious to sacred areas. The intense focus on trapping, stalking and killing is brutal and is increased with a kill. Ask yourself would you want someone sitting in your living room thinking about killing for five or six hours?

Microwaving Mother Earth

I also wondered whether the diminished vibe was because of increased electromagnetic activity. Since 2009 the use of cell phones has exploded. There has also been the invention and surge of smart appliances, smart device such as  cars... that use WiFi. This  has led to a surge in the use of WiFi. There has also been a dramatic increase in WifFi use by computer users. As I noted in Vortices and Spirals WifFi is death star technology and creates negative vortices over time. This has had a devastating affect on our Mother. 5G is around the corner. Basically we are increasing the veracity of our microwaving of Mother Earth.

What am I talking about?

Think of what microwaving does to food. Think how you are told not to get too many X-rays. 

I need to look at some other sites but I am beginning to get an inkling that  we are starting to more vividly see the damaging consequences of the microwaving of our Mother.

Areas

Pictured are the Manitou Stones I found on the trail. Years ago I was not attuned to Manitous the way I am today. There were also several other stones near the Mantious which made me wonder whiter there was a larger structure there at some time.

The the trails to the Glen and the Back Woods were un-navigitable, particularly the one for the Back Woods. I could get into the area of the Glen but the trail was gone.

The Holy Ridge was still incredible. The trail up was in good shape. The vibe was still very positive to extremely positive in the sacred areas, although the vortex had diminished to a vortex ring. I just love this place.

A sure sign that I have been someplace are flat stones resting against a tree awaiting to become prayer stones. They say that we unconsciously leave behind things at a place because we want to come back to it. There are lots and lots of prayer stones resting against trees at Muller Hill.

Climate Migration

As I wrote a year ago  Climate Migration(Climate Change is Driving Migration North), people moving north to escape the heat, will be a dominate force in years to come. The NY Times has an article on this in their magazine,

By 2070, the extremely hot zones that now cover less than 1 percent of the Earth’s land surface — like the Sahara — could cover almost 20 percent. Water sources would vanish. Farms would go barren. And hundreds of millions of people would be forced to choose between flight or death.

The Times Magazine and ProPublica have modeled what that migration could look like. “Northern nations can relieve pressures on the fastest-warming countries by allowing more migrants to move north across their borders, or they can seal themselves off, trapping hundreds of millions of people in places that are increasingly unlivable,” Lustgarten writes.

Sacred Sites Update--Peacemaker's Sanctuary Onondaga Lake--A Thin Veil

The veil has thinned at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary at Onondaga Lake. A thinning of the veil reduces the curtain, or veil, between the physical world and other realities, thereby increasing the possibility for communication with and divine inspiration from the other side. It provides a wonderful window to fantastic mystical experiences, as well as garnering great insights.

A thin veil is not a portal; as we see in the Outlander TV series or with science fiction shows. Rather, a Thin Veil is a co-creation between Mother Earth and humankind. A thinning of the veil occurs well after other co-creations such as a water dome (blind spring) or Natural Vortex (Energy Vortex) have already formed. In other words, it is a barometer, or testament that an area is truly sacred and of a very high order. Like high school compared to grammar school.

Ten to twelve years ago I was all hot to find thin veils, or what I called a "Chimayo Fatima" after two famous sites. I was constantly scouring the woods looking for them.

I had not previously dowsed for a thin veil at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary. Yesterday we were there cleaning up--cutting down reeds, moving tree limbs....when I felt a compunction to dowse for a thin veil.

We also worked at fortifying the area. One bench still had an energy vortex on it while the other closest to the trail had the one on it extinguished. We were able to rectify the latter and fortify the former. So both benches have energy vortices on them, that provide for a powerfull meditative experience.

SCOTTS BLUFF – THE MINI CHIMNEY BLUFFS

The following has been adapted from Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT,ONT) That Changed the World.

A mini Chimney Bluffs is how I would describe Scotts Bluff in Wolcott. Located less than 10 miles east of the visually striking Chimney Bluffs State Park. It is the Red Creek part of the NY DEC’s Black Creek Wildlife management area, one of several lake shore marshes maintained by the NYS DEC http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/24441.html. Scotts Bluff provides the opportunity to explore the wonder and majesty of Lake Ontario in a secluded environment.

The area between Rochester and Oswego is noted for its drumlins, or rolling hills. The numerous bluffs located on Lake Ontario’s southern shore formed from the erosion of these drumlins. The pounding wind, rain and snow continue to wear away at the bluffs. 

The entrance area and parking lot is situated on a plateau overlooking Lake Ontario, providing spectacular views of Lake Ontario and the Bluff (to your right). Be aware that the grassy area of the plateau may not be mowed. 

To get to the beach, look for a herd path to your left in the woods.  The herd path has a good pitch and there are lots of prickly wild rose bushes on either side. If this area is not maintained, the rose bushes can form a canopy and require crouching in parts to go down. However, when I was there last, the herd path had been groomed and no crouching or maneuvering was required to get down. Bring along a thick shirt just in case to protect yourself, or wear a backpack to protect yourself for the path down. The trail can also be wet.

 The beach is about a mile in length and depending upon when you visit may have a few people, or none at all on it. I have seen people swimming on a few occasions.

The condition of the shoreline can vary greatly. Because the shoreline is not maintained you may find washed up trees and other debris. It will also be influenced by the water level of Lake Ontario. The wind can also whip up 2-3 foot waves, which can significantly reduce the size of the shoreline. The temperature will be more moderate; cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter. Expect a breeze.

If you walk to your left (west) a few hundred feet you will come upon the Red Creek Marsh; it will be on your left (south). The shoreline will narrow and begin widening again once you get beyond the marsh. 

I am told that a heavy rain can overrun the barrier separating Red Creek Marsh from Lake Ontario. When this happens, a little waterway forms between the marsh and Lake Ontario at the center of the marsh, where the barrier is the thinnest. I have seen canoers on several occasions in the Creek Marsh.

Scots Bluff shows what makes our Finger Lakes region so wonderful. I encourage you to visit this unique area and take in its spectacular views.
