HEAL--Oil and Gas Subsidies Costing Billions in Health Care Costs

A report out by the Health and Environmental Alliance (HEAL) showa that subsidies to the oil and gas industry create 6 times that amount in health care costs to its people. It does not make economic sense.

World governments make citizens pay billions to destroy their own health

● New HEAL report shows how fossil fuel subsidies support an industry that causes premature deaths, ill-health and huge health costs worldwide, in stark contrast to Paris Agreement
● Health costs associated with fossil fuels are over six times higher than subsidies: 2,758 billion vs 444 billion USD
● HEAL urges policymakers to end fossil fuel subsidies for the sake of health, using freed public funds instead to support healthy energy or health care investments

Brussels, 27 July 2017 11 am CEST – The Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) has launched the report Hidden Price Tags: How ending fossil fuel subsidies would benefit our health providing the first-ever comparison of fossil fuel subsidies and the costs to health associated with air pollution from fossil fuels.

Sacred Sites Update--Swami Vivekananda's Cottage, Wellesley Island, Thousand Islands

I took the opportunity to drive north to Swami Vivekananda's Cottage in Thousand Islands Park on Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands after my survey of Thompson Park ahead of Faerie Festival on the 19th in Watertown. As I noted on my previous post on July 14th, the cottage  will only be open from August 10 to the 24th this year. The cottage itself will be open those days from 10AM to 12 Noon and from 4PM to 6PM. We walked the grounds.

The vibe and atmosphere are still great. Even if you can't get into the cottage visiting the grounds is well worth it.  Here are some pics

I strongly encourage you to visit and experience the wonder and power of this place.

More Toxic Algae Blooms at NY Lakes, and more news

The number of lakes in NY with harmful toxic algae blooms has expanded from 39 in my post last week to 50. To see the bodies of water affected go to:

The Elementals probably Fairies of Some Sort are observing our Survey of the Ledges

A few weeks back I posted  Tiny Faeries, Elementals--What are They? asking what were the bright lights in my picture I had taken of mound #19 during our survey of the Ledges area of High Tor. They sure seemed to be elementals of some sorts, most likely faeries. The brightness of the images were undeniable. The post showed a sequence of pictures taken before and after to demonstrate it was not a speck on my lens.

Then today I got a picture from fellow surveyor and official photographer Peter Shell of mound #19 he took with his camera at around the same time. It provides an even clearer picture of what to be Faeries in the same area. Different cameras capturing images around the same time capturing the same images is pretty powerful proof.

Peter's picture is below followed by mine.

Wind Turbines Are Damaging All of Creation and Mother Earth--Technology Kills

This past weekend on my way to do a review of Thompson park (Watertown, NY) ahead of the sacred walk and talk I will be doing at the Faerie Festival I drove by Barnes Corners and re-experienced all the wind Turbines along Rte 177; IT WAS HORRIFIC!!!!

It was there about a decade ago I stopped to take a picture of what I thought was a wonderful sight to see alternative energy and the protection of Mother Earth. As soon as I stepped out of the car my head began to hurt, seriously hurt, as if a large set of pliers were pinching my temples on either side of my head.

I took out my dowsing rods and sure enough the windturbines were blocking the flow of prana, the life force,  and preventing it from properly doing its job and nourishing all of life.

I began to do some research, wrote some things and did a video. Wind Farms, Wind Turbines are incredibly destructive and harmful to all of creation and Mother Earth. They are flat out VERY, VERY BAD. They are the equivalent of toxic polluters littering the landscape with harmful chemicals and toxins, only they do it to the unseen world and Mother Earth's Subtle Body.

Here are a few things to help educate you about this great danger and killer.  We are talking about something way beyond all the birds killed by the blades of a wind turbine:

Sacred Sites Update--Whetstone Gulf

This past weekend on my way to do a review of Thompson park (Watertown) ahead of the sacred walk and talk I will be doing at the Faerie Festival I stopped by Whetstone Gulf (Lowville,NY.) If you have never been to Whetstone or Inman Gulfs I strongly encourage you do so. The views are spectacular. A gulf is a deep gorge left by a glacier and is unique to our area. They are miny grand canyons, or Letchworth's, only smaller, but much more intimate. Besides, you can walk right next to the cliff's edge.

Whetstone is listed as a sacred site on pages 229-230 of Sacred Sites in North Star Country. The space still remains vibrant. When we were there very few people were there. Nice. Below are some pictures of the gulf.

Onondaga Lake--Chemicals 100's of times more toxic than DDT found

Upstate Health, an  Upstate Medical University Publication, has an article, "Mystery at the Lake", in their summer that says toxins 100's times more toxic than DDT are embedded in the soil in Onondaga Lake.

They cite John Hassett, PHD professor at SUNY Environmental School of Forestry who says that two DDT like compounds that have no name because they were not used commercially are found in the mud. He believes they were a byproduct of coking coal and were dumped in the lake and in pits by the lake.

The toxic chemicals are found in the mud and it is believed that "there is a layer through the whole sentiment of the lake."

The chemicals were dug up because of the dredging of the lake.

The chemicals are extremely toxic, "at very low levels , hundreds of times lower than toxic levels of DDT." Time magazine recognized DDT as one of the 50 worst inventions of the 20th century. Rachel Carson in Silent Spring sang about the dangers of DDT to the environment and helped relaunch the environmental movement.

Wow one of the most sacred places in the world may still be the most polluted lake in the world.

So Sad

I wonder if all the politicians and experts who went swimming in the lake (50 dignitaries, 2 children, a dog and a goofball take a swim in Onondaga Lake ) and proclaimed it was clean would be up for a mud bath at Onondaga Lake?

You can read the article"Mystery at the Lake" by clicking on the link for the Summer Issue.

Summer 2017 Upstate Health magazine

The only other reference I could find was in the Syracuse University's student newspaper the Daily orange. But it only talked about DDT, not the super jacked up version.  Click to read,

Manitou Stone at Norwich's Mt. Hope Cemetery

On the way home from my survey last Friday in Norwich I stopped by to say hello to my friend Joe at work. He told me I should check out the stone structures behind Mt. Hope Cemetery; he had mentioned this to me years ago.

I went to the cemetery thinking the stone structures were located just behind the cemetery. I ended up climbing the hill behind the cemetery for about 30 minutes to get to the top. I was unprepared, wearing sneakers and brought no water with me. But it was well worth it.

I don't think that I found the stone structures Joe's friend had told him about. I did find several large stones; many marking Energy Lines. More time was needed to determine whether it was just coincidence, or that the stones were intentionally placed. My recent ongoing survey of the Ledges Area has taught me to consider Energy Lines in my geomancy and survey of sacred sites and stone structures.

Thank you Joe.

Here are some pictures:

There are several large stones and piles of stones are on the top of the Hill. There is nothing extraordinary about many of  them.

Then I saw this Manitou Stone. An upright stone buried in the ground with a gravestone type of shape. Notice the stone next to the Manitou stone on its lower right next to it, intersecting it at an angle. It marks an Energy Lines coming into the Manitou Stone at that precise angle, as I show below.

Notice the Maintou Stone in the upper center and the surrounding stones.

Red Lines marks the Energy Lines coming into the Manitou Stone. Notice how Energy Lines connect the stones. Also notice how one Energy Line intersects the Manitou Stone perpendicuallarly while another intersects it parallellly--as if it came in one should blade area and went out the shoulder blade on the other side.

I have marked another Manitou Stone M2. Notice how it is connected to the original Manitou Stone (M1) and that one Energy Line bisects it perpendicularly and other bisects it parallellly.

I found the above line of large Stones on my way out.

The red lines show Energy Lines. Notice how the stones outline the Energy Lines. Interesting but no conclusive proof that this was intentionally done as with the Manitou Stones above.

It was a great day and a wonderful chance to explore a new area. Thanks again Joe.

I encourage everyone to go out there and explore Mother Earth and say thanks and give Her a  big hug.

Blessings to everyone.

Plastics are Destructive to Mother Earth and all Creation--Graphic Picture in Climate News

Climate News Network had an incremental picture (see below) today of a dead albatrass  chick full of all sorts of plastic refuse. It was taken by Chris Jordan (via US Fish & Wildlife Service HQ.)

The article notes that, "Timber rots, cement crumbles, metal corrodes: plastics are there for ever. By 2050 there could be 12 billion tonnes in the world’s landfills;" and that much of these plastic polymers end up in the ocean. You can read the article by clicking on the link below.

Space Matters--Cancer Clusters

We live in a sea of consciousness. Everything has consciousness; tables, cars, stones, blinders, clothing, chemicals, food. If this consciousness is negative (selfish), toxic...it will have a detrimental effect upon you--physically and spiritually.

Everything also retains imprints of what has transpired around it, call it karma. Ultimately everything has karma and whatever you are in close contact with will try and have its karma influence you. This is what I called circles, in Vortices and Spirals (Pages 32-34.)

This morning CBS Sunday morning had a segment on cancer clusters. That particular spaces, environmental areas are conducive to cancer. Not surprisingly industry and science make it difficult to prove. But cancer clusters are very, very real. WE call it geopathic stress.

Here is a link to see the CBS video:

Sacred Survey in Norwich, NY

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a survey of someone' home just outside of Norwich, NY.  The Usonian house was apprentice- designed in the Frank Lloyd Wright tradition in the mid 1950’s and rests on 17 acres. The vibe was positive throughout and very positive in the sacred areas. There are Fields of Consciousness, Stacked 8 (S8, 8 Fields stacked upon each other); VERY NICE! There is also a vortex on the areas with an S8.

Here are some pictures:

 The Front of the house.

A spectacular view of the backyard from the house.

The rock was intentionally exposed. and being prepared for the construction of a work studio above. THE HIGHPOINTS, S8 IN THIS CASE, IN A FOC OFTEN COME IN A SERIES OF 3, 12-15 FEET APART, IN A STRAIGHT LINE. IN THE PICTURE ABOVE THE SERIES OF 3 IS MARKED WITH A SERIES OF RED X'S.

Overall the FOC is about 50-60 feet in diameter in an oblong shape. Weirdly, the garage, within the FOC, seemed to create a bulge in the FOC. That however, may be because me and my perceptions.
Above a  circle of stones mark one of the S8's in the series of three. The large flat stone had recently fallen over. NOTICE THAT THE PLACEMENT OF TWO LARGE UPRIGHT STONES WAS ON ONE OF THE HIGH-POINTS--S8. WE ARE UNCONCIOUSLY DRAWN TO SACRED AREAS AND OFTEN MARK THEM, OR BUILD RELIGIOUS STRUCTURES OVER THEM. FOR EXAMPLE, MANY PLACES OF WORSHIP ARE LOCATED OVER LEY LINES.

One of the other S8's is outlined above with stones. It is also is where the vortex, or natural vortex is. Very powerful. A natural vortex is a cocreation with Mother Earth and forms in response to human intention. You find them at places where good deeds such as, compassion, prayer, ceremony, healing, giving, altruism etc...take place. It pulls in, or funnels in extra energy into you. In this case it funnels in extra consciousness. To learn more see my, Vortices and Spirals.

Lots of interesting willow structures on the property.

A great place. The vibe and the vortex are a clear indication that this was once a very holy area, a pilgrimage site. VERY NICE!

Toxic Algae Blooms In NorthStar Lakes Poses threat

If you plan on visiting some of the sacred sites listed in my book (Sacred Sites in North Star Country) you should be aware that parts of several of our lakes have toxic algae blooms. Swimming in these blooms will certainly harm and may  kill your dog and may do the similar to you as well.

The runoff of farm fertilizers containing phosphorous and nitrogen contribute to the growth of algae bloom.

The Adirondacks--Birthplace of Vacation and Helped Procure Summer Vacation for Kids

One of the themes of my work is that place matters and in particular the area of Greater New York State, what I call North Star Country, has shaped the world in spirituality and reform. My fourth book Sacred Sites in North Star Country went into detail about this and lists over a 100 sacred places.

This morning I read an article on Syracuse.com about how the Adirondacks  (How summer vacation took hold in the US, with help from the Adirondacks Commentary) was the motivation for summer vacation. In other words, vacation and a small break, or reprieve from work, was born in North Star Country. It is a reprint of an article that appeared on Bloomberg.com a few days ago. Which you will find below.

Interestingly the author argues that the impetus for vacation helped influence the alteration of the school year for children to include summer vacation.

While vacation began as the author notes, as a white collar event, clearly it was a reform that helped break the bond of many hours of work and freed workers. A BIG STEP FORWARD

I have included pictures of my visit to the Adirondacks and stay at Putnam camp with my friends Jane Tretler and Pete Wirth last week in the Bloomberg article below.

Blessings,
madis

PS It never ceases to amaze me how much our area has shaped the world.
