Consciousness Research with Halucingenics and Tripping Shamans Confirm Vortex Directional Spin

Dear Dowsers,

One of the challenges when I was writing Vortices and Spirals a few years ago was to verify the directional spin of energy vortices. This is the most important distinquishing feature of an energy vortex.

Positive Energy Vortices--spin clockwise in the Northern Hemsishpere and counter-clockwise in the Southern hemisphere.

While,

Negative Energy Vortices--spin counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

This is because of the earth spin and is called the coriolis effect.

Fortunately I was able to contact Alanna Moore of Geomantica, who at the time was still living in Australia. She confirmed that positive vortices spin counter-clockwsise in the Southern Hemisphere, and negative ones spin clockwise.

In researching my upcoming book, Adena Ceremonial Sites,  I have been listening to a lot of Graham Hancock Videos on YouTube, Yesterday I was listening  to the following recent post, 

Graham Hancock Solves the Greatest Puzzles in Human History [FULL VIDEO]

Graham has done a lot excellent work on showing how archaeology, science and history is wrong; and that there were ancient cultures in existence long before what we currently believe.

In this video Graham talks about the research done by western scientists to study altered states of consciousness using drugs such as LSD, psylocibin etc. He notes that the forms people see in early stages of altered states are very similar and are called Entoptic Phenomena. 

In the chart below he compares the Entoptic Phenonma of western volunteers, the set of forms on top to the forms seen by shamans in South America on the hallucenagenic Ayahuasca, forms on the bottom.

So on top we have the forms people that people see on hallucinogenics in the Northern Hemisphere; versus on the bottom for shamans on hallucinogenics in the southern hemisphere.

Notice the spiral on top--northern hemisphere--spins clockwise, it is a positive evergy vortex.

The spiral on the bottom--southern hemisphere--spins counterclockwise, it is a positive energy vortex.

So both groups have visions of positive energy vortices and because of where they live have different directional spins.

Very, very interesting to this dowser.

We got it right.

Sacred Survey in Norwich, NY

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a survey of someone' home just outside of Norwich, NY.  The Usonian house was apprentice- designed in the Frank Lloyd Wright tradition in the mid 1950’s and rests on 17 acres. The vibe was positive throughout and very positive in the sacred areas. There are Fields of Consciousness, Stacked 8 (S8, 8 Fields stacked upon each other); VERY NICE! There is also a vortex on the areas with an S8.

 The rock was intentionally exposed. and being prepared for the construction of a work studio above. THE HIGHPOINTS, S8 IN THIS CASE, IN A FOC OFTEN COME IN A SERIES OF 3, 12-15 FEET APART, IN A STRAIGHT LINE. IN THE PICTURE ABOVE THE SERIES OF 3 IS MARKED WITH A SERIES OF RED X'S.

Overall the FOC is about 50-60 feet in diameter in an oblong shape. Weirdly, the garage, within the FOC, seemed to create a bulge in the FOC. That however, may be because me and my perceptions.

 Above a  circle of stones mark one of the S8's in the series of three. The large flat stone had recently fallen over. NOTICE THAT THE PLACEMENT OF TWO LARGE UPRIGHT STONES WAS ON ONE OF THE HIGH-POINTS--S8. WE ARE UNCONCIOUSLY DRAWN TO SACRED AREAS AND OFTEN MARK THEM, OR BUILD RELIGIOUS STRUCTURES OVER THEM. FOR EXAMPLE, MANY PLACES OF WORSHIP ARE LOCATED OVER LEY LINES.

One of the other S8's is outlined above with stones. It is also is where the vortex, or natural vortex is. Very powerful. A natural vortex is a cocreation with Mother Earth and forms in response to human intention. You find them at places where good deeds such as, compassion, prayer, ceremony, healing, giving, altruism etc...take place. It pulls in, or funnels in extra energy into you. A great place. The vibe and the vortex are a clear indication that this was once a very holy area, a pilgrimage site. VERY NICE!

Swami Vivekananda Cottage in the Thousand Islands Will be open August 10 to the 24

Swami Vivekananda's cottage is a must visit for anyone interested in Hinduism and its vedanta, yoga and meditation. It is only opened briefly in the summer.

Unfortunately Swami Vivekananda's Cottage in the Thousand Islands Park on Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands will only be open from August 10 to the 24th this year. The cottage itself will be open those days from 10AM to 12 Noon and from 4PM to 6PM. You can certainly walk the grounds when the cottage is not open. Because of the limited hours I expect crowds and would look to go during the week.

The room upstairs where the Swami stayed while he was there for 8 weeks in 1895 (he lectured and taught on Vedanta) has a powerful vortex; one that put me instantly in the balcony a few years ago. Very, very strong. You definitely need to meditate in the room--the vortex is located in the center of the room.

The house and the immediate area rests on Fields of Consciousness. There is another vortex in the rocks behind the house. Meditating on the rocks in front of, or behind the house would be a good thing to do.

Make sure to visit the rock/tree in the back (it is a short 5 minute walk) where Swami Vivekananda achieved the highest state of Samadhi. It said that on his last day August 7, 1895 at the Thousand Islands the Swami went into the back woods to meditate and froze solid in meditation and remained oblivious to torrential rain and is said to have achieved nirvikalpa Samadhi. (Page 104)
“He had a unique experience of inner freedom at the Thousand Islands Park which he expressed eloquently in his poem “The Song of Sannyasin”. He wrote from there to a friend:

Ledges Area Survey, Stone Mound #5

Summer Fun--Faery and Earth Festival, Saturday August 19, Thompson Park, Watertown, NY

I will be at the Faery and Earth Festival Saturday August 19th, at historic Thompson Park in Watertown NY.


I will be:

1. Giving a talk on Vortices, or Vortexes.
2. Leading Sacred Walks to explore the mysteries and delights of Mother Earth found at Thompson Park.
3. Book Signing, both Vortices and Spirals and Sacred Sites in North Star Country will be available for purchase.

It should be a fun day, There will be Entertainment (music, performers, dancers, a puppeteer)    Workshops and Vendors selling a variety of Earth, Faery and Pagan items and food vendors as well.

Thompson Park is included in Sacred Sites in North Star Country and has Fields of Consciousness. It is said that it has a mysterious vortex that acts like a time portal. 

A few years back the city put up a sign and designated Thompson Park an AREA 51 location. Evidently when the CIA took over Area 51 in Nevada they nicknamed it Watertown; because THE then head of the CIA Allan Dulles was from Watertown.

I am hoping to talk to Dea, the Druid about the location of the time portal. Over a decade ago at a talk I gave at Naturtyme in Syracuse several people told me that there where ghosts and much more at the park, particularly near the zoo. 

As you know my feelings on these matters(ghosts/aliens) is that they are generally indicative of special aspects of Mother Earth located at a particular place. I hope to get out and re-explore once I learn more about the location of the vortex. It should make for an interesting sacred walk(s.)

If you are making the drive and wanting to make a day of it, you should consider visiting Swami Vivekananda's Cottage in the Thousand Islands Park. It is about 40 minutes away. Visiting the place where this great mystic achieved Nirvikalpa Samadhi, the highest state of Samadhi, is annual pilgrimage. I strongly encourage you to visit. You just need to make sure the hours of operation--last year the cottage was open 10-12 and 4-6. It should be still open --but again you need to check before going--it usually closes a week, or two before Labor Day.

Dowsing Rods, L-Rods

At my talks I have mentioned dowsing rods and even given demonstrations using them. If you are going to become an Earth Healer, or wish to learn geomancy you will need to buy a pair of dowsing rods, or L-Rods. They are called L-Rods because they are in the shape of an "L."

Pendulums will not cut it. You need L-rods because they can guide you to locations, or aspects of Mother Earth by pointing in a specific direction; and when you get to the location of your query they will  indicate that you have arrived by opening up (or crossing, or swinging.) This is invaluable. Imagine how many questions you would have to ask with a pendulum to find a location of something like a Ley Line. Secondly, they can trace a formation of Mother Earth such as an Earth Chakra, or show you the directional angle of a Ley Line. For example, an accomplished Geomancer can hold an L-Rod in one hand over the intersection of several Ley Lines and have it rotate slowly and stop each time it gets to a Ley Line, thereby showing you its direction. They can also indicate the directional flow of an energy line. 

Most importantly once you get good at using L-Rods you will develop a bond with them and they will begin to alert you things. For example, I may  be looking for a Ley Line and my rods will suddenly point in another direction, alerting me to something that might be of interest to me. Or they begin to move in a very distinct pattern notifying me that something particular is there. This might be something as simple as spinning around to tell me--"Hey There's A Vortex There." These are all movements unique to me and my rods that we have developed over the years. Call it something additional to a sixth sense, or your intuitive sense. 

L-Rods can perform all the functions of a pendulum such as answering your questions. YES--they open up; NO.-- they cross. If you are interested in using them like a pendulum I suggest buying an expensive sensitive pair that will move freely in its sleeve and be sensitive to the slightest movement. 

If you can afford it, I would buy two sets of L-Rods and keep one set in your car for when you run into things, or misplace your other pair. When I first started to dowse I was constantly searching for Ley Lines, or what I call Spirit Lines. Wherever I went I would search for them. If you want to become a good geomancer you need to dedicate yourself, at least initially, to developing your craft. MAKE IT YOUR FOCUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not let anyone else use your dowsing rods. I used to think it was okay to let others use my rods, but came to realize a bit of whomever touches your rods, stays on your rods. So treat them like your toothbrush.

When buying L-rods make sure that they have a sleeve around the portion you hold in your hands so that they can spin about freely. L-Rods look like a Right Angle (what  carpenters call a framing square)  when you hold the shorter part in your hands. Also make sure that the wire is not too flimsy or light, because they will bend. When they become misshaped they loose their balance. Although some folks have told me they like the light ones and don't mind that they get bent. Conversely super thick ones will be heavy to hold for long periods. You want something that will respond to your intention. Ultimately, if you become a good geomancer it won't matter as much; but it is always nice to have a sensitive pair of rods.

The Key is to buy one with a sleeve so it moves easily. The ability for such movement is critical for geomancy techniques such as finding vortex, or gauging Imprints (Land Imprints/Memories, Geographic Samskaras.)

Sacred Sites Update--MULLER HILL, GEORGETOWN, NY

I had a chance to visit Muller Hill, Georgetown, NY (pages 165-175, Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT, ONT) That Changed the World) earlier today. A very positive and joyful experience, with lots of good news. The space is more than held up and has definitely picked up in some places--the Vibe, vortices, new areas,.....

I should have known that parts of Muller Hill Road would be covered with snow and ice; forget the streak of very warm weather. So I had to walk a ways to get to the sacred area.

The vibe is still very, very sweet. I immediately felt uplifted and a little blissed out  as soon as I stepped into the sacred area. The vibe of the Welcome Circle was very positive, to extremely positive.Very nice considering it experiences traffic.

I was surprised to find the Glen above not submerged under water but it seemed that the ground was firm and maybe even still frozen in parts. The energy burst I had been feeling in previous visits next to the prayer stone above is coming from at least one Earth Chakra.

There were still parts with lots of snow, as much as foot deep. Who would have thought it, given the warm weather we have had.

It was a blessing to find that a new vortex has formed on the Holy Ridge. In the picture above the dogs are in the vortex. This is the first station on the Holy Ridge and you are looking towards the Back Woods.

The location of the vortex is interesting. As I noted in Vortices and Spirals the location of a vortex can an indicator of the size of sacred site, of special areas.....Very interesting because none of us has meditated or prayed there.

Just up ahead of the first station is a vortex ring/vortex marked by the large flat prayer stone on the left; it is on a hump, or slight rise. I assume the rise is from a downed tree--but the pile rocks on the right may indicate that perhaps there is a stone pile underneath.

Here is where I meditated. It is located about 50 feet from the big hemlock pictured above going towards the Back Woods in the gnarly area.

What's there? I really don't know. Some aspect of Mother Earth associated with Fields of Consciousness. As I have noted on several occasions as you begin to perform spiritual practices in earnest and with no religious baggage (karma) the land and Mother Earth begins to reveal itself, just as we progress in our spiritual transformation revelation begins to appear.

Three vortices in the area of the first station on the Holy Ridge, New areas and aspects, and a great vibe in a warm and welcoming neighborhood.

Wow. I did not have time to fully explore. But what I found was very positive and a blessing. I thank God and Mother Earth for the bounty that has been bestowed upon us at Muller.

Gobind Sadan Celebration Feb 25, 7PM

All are welcome to attend the celebration of Baba Ji's Birthday at the Gobind Sadan Ashram. What he called, "One of the holiest places in the world!" This would be an excellent chance to join the Sikh community in celebrating one of their icons. It will also give you the opportunity to meditate in a powerful place; one that would nourish your soul and improve your meditation.

When I wrote up Gobind Sadan for  Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (Pa, Oh, NJ, CT, Ma, VT, Ont) That Changed the World I had never been in the meditation center. I was there a few weeks back.

When I walked into the mediation center--WOW. It has an extremely positive vibe, rests on a stack (12) Field of Consciousness (the highest) and has a vortex. It was an incredibly powerful and uplifting experience to meditate there.

Below is a picture of the meditation room. It is an old out building converted to a meditation center after the old temple was burned down. The ceremonial fire in the center room is stoked and fed incense on a continual basis. Ralph Singh would like to have the sacred fire going 24/7. He may be looking for volunteers to come by, or even spend a few days on a longer retreat in this shangra la and keep the fires going. When Ralph went to India years ago for one week  I would visit his house in Elbridge to do ceremony and feed a wooden statue of Baba Virsa Chand. This was over ten years ago.

In the picture above I am standing in the vortex in the meditation room. A sure sign that this place is holy and divine. As I noted in Vortices and Spirals,  a vortex forms in response to prayer/meditation/cermony and are found at holy places around the world. Unfortunately, many supposed holy places don't have vortices, or even a positive vibe.

This would be a great place to sit and meditate when you visit. They gave me a an orange scarf to cover my head.

The meditation room is an incredibly powerful place. When you meditate in a place where others, more experienced meditators have meditated, you benefit and up your meditation. In other words, you can significantly improve your meditation by meditating there. For those that have played basketball, think how much better your game is when you play with better players.

We will be holding an Earth Healer's Gathering at Gobind Sadan this spring/summer and hopefully the temple will be opened up early for us to soak in the divinity of this precious piece of Mother Earth's Soul.

Ghost Busters, Odd Coincidence, the Universe

I was watching the new Ghostbusters Movie (2016) starring Melissa McCarthy when I noticed some strange similarities to my personal life. Odd I thought.

It begins when the ghostbusters talk about various power points where ghosts and creepy things have been  happening in NYC. They mention the corner of Sixth Ave and 26th Street. It caught my attention because my last residence in NYC before coming home to Syracuse was 109 West 26th Street.

They then connect all the x's and say that they represent Ley Lines. I have been searching for Ley Lines for 15 years. My most recent book Sacred Sites in North Star Country is all about where Ley lines originate from.

Further in the movie they talk about how Ley Lines are a passage system  in the unseen world separating this world from the unseen world. Not to dissimilar from what I believe.

The topper was that a fellow was looking to create a vortex where the Ley Lines intersected. My previous Vortices and Spirals was all about what vortices are, how to create them and work with them.

Coincidence? Or the Universe at Work?

Earth Healing- at Gossamer Retreat & Hipp Brook's Ancient Boulders 11/19/16

WE had a fruitful day this past Saturday working on Gossamer Retreat and Healing Center (Canandaigua) and visiting Hipp Brook, which was an incredible experience as the pictures below tell.

We able to make 2 stone circles, lay down several prayer stones which we mediated on and completed much of the new trail on the north side of Gossamer.

 Above is the Welcome Circle we created at the north end of Gossamer on the new entry trail. We have mediated in the circle several times. the vibe is very positive.

 Above is another Manitou Stone, or Upright Stone embedded in the ground we found at Gossamer. It marks the intersection of several Spirit Lines.

 Above is the Spirit Keeper's circle we constructed. An oblong stone circle about 80-100 feet in diameter on the middle trail at Gossamer; in fact part of it covers the trail. Yes, Yes bad feng shui to have such an intersection--but it keeps the circle true and forces people to walk through it, as they walk the trail.

When we meditated on it 4 to 5 skeins of geese flew overhead from different angles, all intersectimg above us over the Spirit Keeper's Circle. We took it as a blessing and positive affirmation.



HIPP BROOK--WOW!
A SACRED SPIRIT KEEPER'S SITE?

By the time we got to Hipp Brook in Penfield (SE of Rochester)  it was raining pretty hard, the wind was blowing and the temp dropping ahead of the blizzard to come.

A map dowsing of Hipp Brook a few weeks earlier showed that a Field of Consciousness(FOC) (a stacked 6, S6) was located behind the bench on the trail. We had gotten permission to place a few flat prayer stones behind the bench as long as they were indistinguishable. I carried in four prayer stones. Since it is a marshy area, parts of the trail is on raised wooden planks. Hipp Brook is located in Penfield, one of the more affluent suburbs of Rochester. You will see houses in the background of several of the pictures.

When we got to the bench we found that there were stones already there: HUGE BOULDERS. 

Huge boulders which were strategically located over the Fields of Consciousness. The vibe was neutral at the periphery. Because we were so blissed out from Gossamer our sensitivity was diminished and we felt little.

Several dowsing measurements showed that a FOC was below the boulders.

• I dowsed a FOC (S6.)
• We dowsed out a nearby Originator and the Spirit Lines (Ley Lines) originating from them.

When we walked to the center of the FOC we found that the vibe was positive to very positive there. A positive indication.

We found other FOC with boulders over them on the way out.

Near the parking area there were boulders but not so connected to FOC. We also noticed several large stones on some of the houses in the neighborhood. WE assume that these had been moved by construction people.

Someone at the DEC said that the stones may have been placed by retreating glaciers. Possible. Although it is very odd to find such large boulders in a wet marshy area.

Given that the boulders appear to be placed over FOC I imagine it is the work of Spirit Keepers. I have never seen this before; usually it a few stones, a stone pile, an alignment of stones, etc.. Never boulders. But perhaps given the marshy area they choose to use such large stones. How did they move them?

I plan on going back in the next week to reexamine and verify my initial findings  when I am not so blissed out.

Beavers at Onondaga Lake?

I went for a walk yesterday around Onondaga Lake with two of my childhood friends who were in town for a SUNY Forestry Alumni gathering. We wanted to check out the new section of the West Shore Trail beginning near the State Fair. We finished at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary before turning around.

At the Peacemaker's sanctuary I noticed that the stones we had used to mark the energy vortex and vortex ring near one of the benches were gone. Unfortunately, this is not a new phenomena; the stones from the  stone circle we made around the Tree of Peace at Willow Bay were similarly removed. I saw a young boy chuck them in the water as I was coming to water the tree once. Sad. Particularly since those stones were in a neat circle. 

I guess putting stones down are a problem unless they are embedded in the soil.

My Forestry(Stumpie)  friend Gary Mastroeni commented on how the shape of a few stumps in front to the old bench looked like they were done by a beaver (the tops looked like a sharpened pencil.) The picture Gary took is below. Fellow Stumpie Rick Milewski concurred.

This makes sense. When I found the stumps earlier this year I thought it odd that someone would have cut trees down in an area that was covered with overgrowth.

It should not be surprising that there are beavers living around Onondaga Lake, but it is because the park does not seem so "Wild." 

It was a relieve and a mild joy to learn that the areas we had cleared and uncovered that we thought were previously part of a larger sacred site, had not been disturbed in years--at least my humankind. 

Onondaga Lake Peacemaker's Sanctuary Update--A Vortex has Re-formed

The meditating we have been doing weekly at the Peacemaker's Sanctuary is having an effect. One of the two vortex rings near the new bench has blossomed into a vortex. Excellent!!!!!!

Meditating in a vortex increases the amount of Mother Earth's essences you attract during an activity; in this case Consciousness, Christ Consciousness--nourishing your soul with love, compassion, altruism... . Meditating in one is strongly encouraged. Doing so over a prolonged period of time will hasten your spiritual transformation.

I marked the vortex with two stones. 

The location of the vortex, it previously was a vortex ring, a little away from our prayer and meditation area tells us several things:

1. Someone else long before us prayed/meditated/performed ceremony in the area.
2. The holy area probably extends much farther towards the mouth of the Seneca River. Meaning the area of the Peacemaker's Sanctuary was originally much larger.
3. This truly is a very, very holy area and has been so for a very, very long  time.
4. I expect to find more holy areas that could easily blossom into vortex rings and ultimately vortices, on either side of the bench some distance aways.

In the picture below the folding chair marks the location of the vortex. With the lake to your back it is to the right and a little behind the bench.

During last Wednesday's meditation two swans were playing in front of us. They were briefly joined by a loon. 

Watertown's Thompson Park--Portals, Ghosts and Aliens--An Area 51 Site

Thompson Park in Watertown, NY will be included as a sacred site in my upcoming book, Sacred Sites in North Star country, Place in Greater NYS (PA, CA, OH, NJ, MA, Vt) That Changed the World. There are several Fields of Consciousness located within the park.

My interest in Thompson Park was piqued about ten years ago when i gave a talk at Naturtyme, in Syracuse, NY, on sacred sites. Several people told me that Thompson Park was haunted, particularly near the zoo. I find that often people are experiencing visions, see ghosts/spirits/beings, because they are in an area with high electromagnetic energy. These are places with special aspects of Mother Earth, and occasionally contain Fields of Consciousness.

Since then Thompson Park's status as a Ghoulish, Fiendish, Paranormal, UFO site and more has grown significantly. There have been several postings on YouTube by mainstream TV News Organizations:

Thompson Park Vortex, Time Portal , in it Dayah, a Druid Priestess talks about the  vortex/portal--an inter-dimensional place of passage where time changes. It is was a feature on North Country's News 50.

CNY Central (Channel 3 Syracuse) reported 2 years ago that Watertown has designated Thompson Park an AREA 51 site (aliens) and even posted a sign in the park stating it is an Area 51 site. The Parks Commissioner notes how when the CIA took over AREA 51 in Nevada it was code named 'Watertown.'

A few thoughts:

Portals: Portals do exist and you often find them at the intersection of several Spirit Lines (Ley Lines.) They are also often found close to Fields of Consciousness; particularly since so many Spirit Lines originate from Fields, so the chances that several Spirit Lines (Ley Lines) will intersect are good.

Should you slip into a portal(rare) itwill place you in another dimension, how you experience this mystical experience will vary with individuals. You may blank out, see things differently, hallucinate, feel a sensed presence,etc...

So a variety of experiences, or phenomena are attributable to portals.

It could also be that the mystical experiences people had are attributable to  powerful thought forms from past generations. I see this as being a remote possibility because the vibe is not positively strong.

The Desecrating a Sacred Site. With its great views, Fields of Consciousness and other attributes of Mother Earth Thompson Park was once a very sacred site. But it is in decay; someone planted a seed that the mystical experience available there where not spiritual, or soul enriching in nature, but ghoulish and freaky. Posting YouTube videos about the paranormal and spooky, designating Thompson Park as an Area 51 site  only serve to accelerate its continued decline.

Ghost Hunters and other fiendishly motivated are a pox upon our society and culture. Again think about it: What if powerful earth energy/phenomona cause you to have a mystical experience. 
Do you,
a) see it as communication with the divine and a chance to spiritually grow, and feel blessed by the divine.
or do you,
b) see it as a thrill, a chance to see something freaky and unusual--as if you popped a pill, or went to a movie with good visual effects.

It seems the latter is the order of the day at Thompson Park in Watertown NY.
