Grafton NYS Park, Hennig Preserve Surveys Part 2 Grafton

Over three and a half years ago I visited Grafton State Parks and did not find many stone structures or aspects of Mother Earth. As I noted in my blog post about the survey Misdirected I felt as though something was playing with me, because my dowsing rods where constantly being misdirected. I am attuned to my rods. When they start moving in unexpected ways it usually to point something out to me that I had not been looking for, but would be interested in seeing. On that survey they just moved and jumped around as if I were a neophyte dowser, pedantic and out of control: going one way and the reversing course.

My interest in Grafton was piqued when I read a post on the Rock Piles Blog about some cairns in Grafton:Cairns with standing Manitou Stones in Grafton, NY

One of the things I looked for are covered Earth Chakras. When you cover Earth Chakras the Life Force is unable to penetrate the rocks so it bounces off and cannot  be channeled into the chakra's vortex. It then lingers in the air and looks for another Earth Chakra (EC).

To see if we could measure the affects of a blocked EC Lorna measured the area of the chakra unblocked and blocked.

Above is a the EC covered. It was later uncovered.
Lorna did find an increase in positive energy, but it was not that significant.

Grafton NYS Park, Hennig Preserve Surveys Part 3 Grafton--The Sweet Area

The Sweet Area

To me it's all about the vibe: the wonder and magic created between humankind and Mother Earth that produces an uplifting synergy that can nourish your soul, give you insights, send you on wonderful journeys and more. When we love, give, heal, meditate, do ceremony we enhance a space (uplift Mother Earth) and our Mother rewards us. She needs us to achieve Her fullest potential and we( humankind) need Her to achieve ours.

The area  we would spend the rest of our time at Grafton had a great vibe--running from positive, to very positive to extremely positive. This does all sorts of wonderful things, like significantly enhancing the power the features of Mother Earth found there. For example,  Energy lines and other formations seemed that much more powerful, so much so that at times you were  wondering whether it was the vibe, or our Mother's energy. AMAZING.

That said I did not find any energy vortices, or water domes (blind springs). What you would think would be abundant in such a positive space. It could be that the group overall distracted from me, or.... I did find a water vein that formed in response to prayer/ceremony.

IT IS THE VIBE THAT TURNS A SPACE INTO ONE THAT SHOULD BE EXPERIENCED RATHER THAN ONE TO BE SEEN.

As I noted in my THE DONALD TRUMP (OSTENTATIOUS) THEORY OF SACRED SITES   it is the wonder and soul of simple structures rather than large ornate structures that are wonderous. Stones are only a marker to tell us where  to pray someplace and act as a retainer of our spiritual imprints (thoughts, actions, intentions....)

Everything Was Marked
When you get in such a space (especially if it has not been dismantled by farmers, foresters, hunters and their ilk) you find that all sorts of features of Mother Earth are marked with stones; creating a myriad of delights to experience and explore.

In the picture above my backpack marks a large stone marking the intersection of several Lines of Consciousness( L.O.C.)or Ley Lines, or Spirit Lines,...Usually you would not feel much, but because the space (its vibe) was enhanced with prayer, well....

Was that the remnants of a seat, or just a natural collection of rocks next to the large stone?

Lost Pictures of a Field of Consciousness( FOC)

Regretably my camera battery was running low when I snapped several pictures of the Field of Consciousness (FOC emanate a soul nourishing type of Christ consciousness that makes you more loving and altruistic). FOC come as single Fields or as many as twelve FOC stacked upon each other. This was a stack two or three, not much; but because of the vibe it was  very powerful and sweet.

Lorna found this to measure a strong uplifting energy, as she did at other places with a very positive vibe.

The Depressed/Dimpled Mound
We did find a stone pile with a depressed center covering a series of two Earth Chakras.

My dog Jaeda Bear is sitting in the depressed area of the stone mound. On her right side is a series of two Earth Chakras covered with stone. As noted the stone blocks the Life Force from entering the Earth Chakra's vortex.

I believe that pilgrims would sit in the depressed area because all of the Life Force is trying to get as close as it can to the Earth Chakra's vortex which is at the bottom of the depressed area. So the depressed area is a charged area.

Further indications of the sacred area of the stone mound were found with Manitou stones and other alignments close to the depressed area. (below)

Interestingly the stone mound with the depressed center was part of a stone wall that connected with another stone wall at a right angle. This would make you think it was a boundary marker. But the Manitous around and within the stone walls say otherwise. It may have been that there were four walls at one time making an enclosed square/rectangle.. Besides the vibe was too good to be a farming area.

This stone structure was nestled on the side of the hill. The picture below of the backside is very reminiscent of a similar stone structure we found on our survey of the Whangtown Stone chambers in Putnam County, NY. Although not as high it was a wall on a hill with a depressed center marking Earth Chakras: Whangtown Stone Chambers, Part III(of VII)--The Stone Pile

Survey of Sacred Sites in Downstate NY, PART VIII--Shaupeneak Stone Mounds

Later that Saturday morning Sandy (Estelle's daughter) and her husband Mike took me to  Shaupeneak Ridge. Sandy wanted to show me some standing stones, but unfortunately we did not find them.

While Sandy was a little bummed, I was tickled pink. Why? Because we found some incredible stone mounds with dimpled or hollowed out centers, or depressed areas. Most likely Middlesex focus, basically Adena like. They marked energy formations and were very reminiscent of what is at High Tor NYS Wildlife Management Area in Middlesex, NY. (See my Clarks Gully Blog for pics.)

We were really pressed for time because I had to speak in the early afternoon at the American Society of Dowsers Convention in New Paltz.

Mound 1 Was a large stone mound with two dimpled, or depressed areas.

The stone mound covers Earth Chakras. The cushion gives perspective on the depth of the depressed areas.

The other depressed or dimpled area.

Stone Mound 2. Had one large hollowed out or dimpled center. Within the depressed area was a large platform stone marking the intersection of numerous Energy Lines. I have never seen such a formation before. I have seen plenty of dimpled stone mounds and many platform stones by themselves, never before the two together. Amazing and I feel blessed to have found it.

The platform stone is located between the staffs marking Energy Lines and my seat cushion.

We had to rush back so that I could change and drive to New Paltz college to give my talk. I hope to go back to Shaupeneak Ridge with Sandy and Mike to see the standing stones some time in the future. I did make it back in time for my talk that was well attended.

I left Estelle's about 5 pm and got back to Syracuse by 10pm. I even picked up Living Water in Lyle, NY.

It was a great trip. I certainly used my time well and surveyed and saw lots of sacred sites. What Fun. Thanks God. And thanks to Estelle for her company, generosity and good spirit. I feel so blessed.

Thank you God.

Part III Stonewall/Ohiopyle Survey--The Earthen Mound

At the entrance to Stonewall Jackson Park along Rte 19 is an earthen mound. There is speculation about whether it was manmade, or natural. I believe it was manmade. The edges of the flat top cover Earth Chakras. In other words if I wanted to built an earthen mound over Earth Chakras this is what it would look like. Secondly, there is a water dome underneath the earthen mound indicating that the area was used for ceremonial purposes.

I took the Overlook Trail to get there.

Objects--my coat and staff--mark Earth Chakras

The orange seat cushion marks a water dome.

Part IV Stonewall Ohiopyle Survey--Ohiopyle State Park

March 20, 2018 the first day of spring and I ran into a blizzard. I left just south of  Morgantown, WVA with heavy rain. By the time I got to Ohiopyle Sate Park in southwestern PA snow was forming and beginning to stick, especially as I climbed in altitude.

There were two primary areas I looked at. Both very nice and impressive.

The first was a grouping of mounds. The majority of the mounds were stone piles with no particular form or structures. A  few were located on Earth Chakras and had hallowed out centers which were more than 2 feet deep. They were in incredible shape and the pictures do not do them justice. Arguably they were more cylindrical in shape than a stone mound, or rock pile.

Although the snow limited my ability to see it was clear that much detailed was applied to the stone mounds. In the picture above my staffs mark a manitou stone marking the intersection of 2 Energy Lines.

You can see several snow covered snow mounds in the picture above.

Part V Stonewall/Ohiopyle Survey--Ohiopyle State Park

Part V Stonewall/Ohiopyle Survey--Ohiopyle State Park

The other sacred area of Ohiopyle State Park(PA) I surveyed contained two large stone mounds (10-15 feet in diameter) with large hollowed out centers that straddled a dirt road on a mountaintop. The vibe in the center areas was very positive--very nice. While the snow was piling up I could discern several supporting stones marking Energy Lines.

I was told that the view was spectacular. I imagine it was. I was able to capture it. The ridge upon which the stone mounds were located was narrow with steep sides. The wind from the blizzard was brutal and I had to cover my ears to keep from getting frostbite.

These were the stone mounds that piqued my interest and motivated to put this trip together.  Check out these beauties,

In the pictures above you can catch some of the view in the horizon. I imagine that pilgrims would do ceremony, meditate or just take in the majesty of place. Very Nice.

Interesting that the hollowed out center was so large compared to other stone mounds. Usually when you find such a large dimpled area it is because of all the Earth Chakras (EC)--both large mounds only had 1 EC each; or all of the Energy Lines. Which makes me wonder was this circle used more for community like activities.

Here are my snowy versions.
My staff in 1 ft increments show the hollowed out center to be almost 3 feet deep. I imagine it was originally much deeper as leaves and other debris over the millennia have raised its floor.

A manitou stone just outside of the stone cairns. Staffs mark 2 Energy Lines intersecting  at the Manitou Stone.

The other stone mound

The other stone is in the upper side of the picture slightly to the right

Thanks to Jim Shaulis and Bruce King for braving the weather and driving on challenging dirt roads covered with  6 inches of snow and showing me the mounds .

I regret I did not have better conditions to observe the stone mounds at Ohiopyle. I also regret I did not have time to spread tobacco to show respect and honor the sacred stone mounds; or meditate while there. I did say a few prayers.

Ohiopyle(PA) like Stonewall Jackson (WVA) is an incredible place. The mounds have some of the best form I have found. The vibe was very positive in the center of the depressed mounds. There was ancillary supporting stones and I imagine much more to explore there.

It was a whirlwind 3 day trip. I had a great time and learned a lot. My knowledge of Early Woodland ceremonial sites has certainly expanded.

Blessings to the great souls that constructed all the stone mounds, standing stone, Manitou stones, platform stones and the wonderful vibe at the stone mounds (stone cairns) at Stonewall Jackson Resort (WVA) and Ohiopyle State Park (PA.) Thank you.

Blessings,

Back to the Ledges at High Tor--What Stone Work

Peter Shell and I were back at High Tor NYS Forest in the Ledges area photographing and cataloguing    stone mounds.  As I have been posting about recently there is some incredible stone work found there. I wanted to share some pictures with you.

Below are pictures of stone mound #19.  It is an oblong shaped stone mound with a dimpled center. There are also many appendages that cover Energy Lines. There is an  elevated front entryway. Not sure if this was to mark Energy Lines, or to create a step up before entry.

The stone mound covers numerous Energy Lines. In fact we ran out of staffs to mark all the Energy Lines and ended up to resorting to using sticks and wrapping them with yellow tape.

There are only 2 Earth Chakrasoff one main Energy Lines marked by yellow tape; offshoots from the dark blue and white staff.

Staffs mark the Energy Lines.

This is the right side of the first picture. Notice how raised stones mark the Energy Lines. Even on the ground to the right you can see stones marking Energy Lines.

In the picture above the tape attached to the dark blue and white staff mark Energy Lines beginning from an Earth Chakra. A vortex, or Earth Chakra is found at the origination point of the new Energy Line. Notice how stones are used to mark these Energy Lines originating from the Earth Chakra.

YouTube Video posted--Mound #16 A Very Intricate Mound

A video of Ledges Area Survey, Stone Mound #6, has Been Posted on YouTube. We are in the process of cataloguing the stone structures at the Ledges Area of High Tor.

Because the Ledges Area contains numerous Earth Chakra, and the bulk of stone mounds are located over Earth Chakras you might wish to first see a short video I put together a few years back on Earth Chakras.

YouTube Video Posted on Using Imprints to Verify a Sacred Site

In our survey of the Ledges Area last week we stopped to film a video about how imprints can be used in surveying a sacred site. We are in the process of cataloguing the stone structures at the Ledges Area of High Tor.

If you don't know much about imprints, or geographic samskaras, you may wish to view my video:
Thought Forms--Geographic Samskaras

Stone mound #12 has been well preserved and retains its dimpled center. In this video I explain how imprints can be used to verify our beliefs about its purpose.

It is an incredible demonstration of the workmanship ancient cultures; even though leaves block your view, much can be gleaned. This is part of a series of video's on our survey of the Ledges. Thanks to Peter Shell and Janice Carr for their help. REMEMBER IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VIBE!

Ledges Mound #7, Maintou Stone and Marked Energy Line Traced Out

A video of Ledges Area Survey, Stone Mound #7, has been posted on YouTube. We are in the process of cataloguing the stone structures at the Ledges Area of High Tor.

Earth Chakras--Vortexes of Energy Circulation

This video looks at stone mound #7 that is in fair condition. It marks two main Energy Lines one of which passes through a Manitou Stone, or upright stone buried in the earth. One Main Energy Lines contains 2 Earth Chakras and the 2 acompanying  offshoot Energy Lines perpendicular to it in the earth below. The other has 3 Earth Chakras and 3 offshoot energy Lines. In this video I trace out one of the marked main Energy Lines.

Earth Chakras--Vortexes of Energy Circulation

This video looks at stone mound #6 which is basically a pile of rubble; but as you trace out the two energy lines underneath the Earth Chakra's vortex much is revealed. Both energy lines are connected to Manitou stones. There are also two Natural Vortices, or Energy Vortices, which indicate that the Ledges Area is a very holy area. It is an incredible demonstration of the workmanship ancient cultures; even though leaves block your view, much can be gleaned. This is the second in a series of video's of our survey of Ledges.
