If you plan on visiting any of the sacred sites listed in Sacred Sites in North Star Country this fall be aware that big game gun season opens up November 18 in the southern part of the state. For your own safety and the safety of the deer, your movements may flush them out for hunters, avoid the woods for the first week and two weekends of the season.
