Technology KIlls-- Apple's Investors Urge it to Do Something about Childhood Addiction to Phones

One of the things I learned as a money manager is that sometimes you get early in on a trend, other times you are the tail. One trend that I have been on early  is that technology is incredibly destructive to humanity, to all of creation and to Mother Earth. Fortunately I have been seeing a rise in awareness about the dangers of technology..

Just last week Apple investors chided the iPhone manufacturer and said that it must do more to prevent children from getting addicted to their phones.
"We have reviewed the evidence and we believe there is a clear need for Apple to offer parents more choices and tools to help them ensure that young consumers are using your products in an optimal manner," wrote the shareholders, Jana Partners LLC and the California State Teachers' Retirement System.

I have posted on this blog on several occassions how addictive cell phones are and how they make us less empathic, anxious and less human. You may be interested in reading, Here's the evidence Apple shareholders used to show that smartphones are addictive for kids

Some such as CCNBC's Cramer  have less of a conscience and think that Apple has no responsibility for its phones causing addiction. Sad.

Onslaught continues
While it is heartening to see some becoming aware about the damage technology does and doing something about it, technology continues to grow at leaps and bounds and is finding news ways of infecting us.

Technology kills
