Manitou's at Skytop (in the city of Syracuse) Posting #2

I have gone back to Skytop a few times since Labor Day. I returned last Friday to follow-up on a few stone structures i had spotted during my previous visits. One of those structures I could not find--there are a maze of trails there. Here are trail maps from TrailForks-- Skytop Main Loop     and  Skytop lot South Entrance.

I was able to find a stone structure close to the one I last posted about. It was a small series of stones marking Ley Lines (Spirit Lines, Lines of Consciousness) connected to two other stone mounds marking the intersection of stone mounds.

The structure is located on a bike trail. I imagine that it was chosen because of its elevation to a challenge with a small bump. Sad.

In the picture above Jaeda Bear is lying on the other side of the stone and earthen mound to show how it is elevated.

Above is a side view of the structure. Notice the depressed are towards the center that is pure earth and worn down.

Sticks mark the Ley Lines in the picture above.

The close up shows how stones were used to etch out, or show the trajectory of the Ley Lines. I imagine that the stone on the far left that is lying flush to the ground was once standing.

Pictured below are the two mounds next to small mound.  My backpack on the upper center right marks the small mound. The two larger mounds both mark the intersection of several Ley Lines.

I call the clustering of several areas of intersecting Ley lines, or Energy Lines, a Nest. I am surprised to find a next with only a dozen of two Ley lines marked because it is not uncommon to find dozens if not close to a hundreds of Ley Lines making a Nest. Putting the effort to mark such a smaller nest, relatively speaking in our area, shows that; 1) At one time pre- framing, pre-quarry, pre mountain biking much of the Skytop area was covered with stones. 2) Either there were lots of Telluric People in our area, or they had lots of time

We have large Nests in upstate NY because we are home to Fields of Consciousness where Ley Lines originate from.

Manitou's at Skytop (in the city of Syracuse) #1

 A few weeks ago I took a hike in Skytop, an abandoned  stone quarry, adjacent to Syracuse University off campus housing  and its former ski jump. It is bounded by SU, Rte 481 and Drumlins golf course. It is known for its bike trails. Here are some trail maps from TrailForks-- Skytop Main Loop     and  Skytop lot South Entrance. 

I have gone back a few times since and even walked most of the area with my friend Pete. On a subsequent hike I saw what i thought what may be manitou stones and sacred stone stone structures, but did not have my dowsing rods with me to confirm this. I went back Labor Day and one of those sites turned out to be a very intricate stone structure, with several Manitou Stones, a few of which were very large.

It is always a gift and surprise to find an intricate stone structure that has weathered modernity, Skytop is even more so. There are numerous stone walls made by farmers located throughout, no doubt partially made up of stones that once constituted ancient stone structures as well as field stones. There is a humongous stone quarry probably a mile or more in diameter nearby with all its roads for trucks. Then there are the mountain bikers who have have carved out numerous trails and built jumps and other structures out of stone--no doubt some sourced by stones from the stone walls, and......

WOW! To still be standing after such an onslaught is incredible.

Unfortunately, the vibe is not the best. A rock quarry is a very damaging to our Mother. My head felt as though it had nasal congestion for much of the time I was there.

A Large Manitou Stone

What caught my eye was a large Manitou Stone 2-3feet high and 8-10 inches in width.

The Manitou stone appears to be part of a larger stone structure because behind it was an elevated stone circle with a dimpled, or hollowed out, center.  In the picture below my backpack rests in the sunken area.

The grouping was very reminiscent of another large Manitou stone and related stone structure I found a few days earlier at High Tor. Labor Day Weekend 2020--Manitou Stones Abound

While much of the stone structure (circle) was covered with earth and flora it contained two almost as large  Manitou Stones that had toppled over.

The stone mound also covered an earth chakra. In the picture below my backpack is located over it.

 There were several Manitou stones within and around the stone structure. A few are pictured below.

I am still amazed that such an intricate stone structure has been able to withstand the onslaught of farming, a large scale quarry operation, bikers who used stones to make jumps and other obstacles for their pleasure, and.....

I guess  some things just persevere. I feel so blessed to have discovered the amazing work of telluric people from long ago. I hope to go back for more hiking and surveys.

Technology Kills--New Movie Exposes how Social Media is destroying our Shared Reality and Distorting our Perspective

Below is a link of an interview that Amanpour and Company's  Hari Sreenivasan  had with Director Jeff Orlowski and Tristan Harris, who heads up the Center for Humane Technology, on their recently released Netflix film 'The Social Dilemma' (Trailer). If you don't have Netflix the interview is a good overview on how social media is isolating  us and helping us create our own personal realities where truth is a stranger. How could anyone believe the QAnon conspiracy? 

Technology can be wonderful but the price we pay for it is much, much too great--too GREAT!

Labor Day Weekend 2020--Manitou Stones Abound

A Manicured Lawn is a Dead Lawn

 CBS' Sunday Morning had a segment earlier today on the Great American Lawn (link below) on how people have become very  fastidious about maintaining their lawn during the pandemic. The implication being that a well groomed  weed free lawn is what many of us strive for.

Sad. 

On the visual level a weed free manicured laws is appealing to many, not to me. To achieve such a result a lawn is staturated with a variety of harmful chemicals. Think of those signs that are placed on a lawn after it has been treated, saying 'lawn chemicals have applied to this lawn--please do not walk on for 24 hours." So the chemicals applied on the lawn are detrimental to your health, your families' health, your pet's health... It also impacts Mother Earth.

At another level it is even  more damning. We live in a sea of consciousness--the world is nothing but consciousness re-arranging itself. Pesticides, chemical fertilizer, weed killer are all  a very pernicious and nasty consciousness. When you apply chemicals to your lawn you are applying that nasty consciousness to your lawn. 

Worse, This nasty consciousness lingers well after its physical shell has diminished. The negativity remains and grows stronger when you re-apply chemicals. You are constantly coming in contact with this consciousness when you or your family of pets walk on the lawn. You think its safe to walk on the lawn--it is not. That negativity lingers to affect your subtle body and possibly your health, all the while corroding your soul.

When I see a lawn without weeds I see a diseased and damaged lawn. I see someone that cares more about appearances than our Mother.

A MANICURED WEED FREE LAWN IS A DEAD LAWN, A LAWN THAT IS BAD FOR YOU AND OUR MOTHER.

Sacred Sites Survey--Danby State Forest

 Since the publication of Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT,ONT) That Changed the World I have been surveying other places that have Fields of Consciousness (FOC) to add when I write a revised version.

 A few weeks back I visited Danby State Forest south of Ithaca, NY.

I have known about a few of the FOC's at Danby for some time. However, I did not include them in Sacred Sites because I was not able to find one particularly sweet spot. A place I discovered 12-14 years, but a place that has been elusive for me to find again. Particularly, since I had a fairly accurate idea of where it was. It is odd how you can find yourself misguided, or bothered, or just don't have it when you are in the woods at times; as if something was messing with you.

Below are some pictures from the FOC's near the Comfort Road/Bald Hill Road intersection.

My backpack is resting on the high point. A stacked 3 (S3) where 3 FOC's are stacked on each other.

Less that 200 yards away was the sweet spot. An S8 with an incredible vibe. While it did not have a Natural Vortex, it did have a vortex ring--picture immediately below. There was also a blind spring. Very nice.

Below is another of the series of 3 S10's. 

I next went to a place I found via map dowsing that was several miles away. Map dowsing involves looking at map while holding your L-rods as if you were in the woods. I also use pictures to find places.

Below is a location near Trevor Road not far from the Finger Lakes Trail. It is a S*, the vibe was neutral to slightly positive.

What is so interesting about this picture is how the FOC seems to be in a clearing surrounded by trees. Earth healers and gemancers will tell you to look for openings surrounded by trees as possibly having an aspect of Mother Earth or where activities took place.

All in all it was another great day out in the woods with our Mother.

Sacred Sites Update-- Muller Hill, Georgetown, NY

Yesterday I visited Muller Hill for the first time in a few years. My review of Muller Hill is located on pages 162-177 of Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT,ONT) That Changed the World.

The thing I noticed first was that the Finger Lakes Trail's Link Trail had lost much of its vibe;.It went from slightly positive to positive, down to neutral. This could be because of several factors; most likely because of the vibe of people walking the trail, or activities conducted on or close to the trail, such as hunting. Hunting is particularly pernicious to sacred areas. The intense focus on trapping, stalking and killing is brutal and is increased with a kill. Ask yourself would you want someone sitting in your living room thinking about killing for five or six hours?

Microwaving Mother Earth

I also wondered whether the diminished vibe was because of increased electromagnetic activity. Since 2009 the use of cell phones has exploded. There has also been the invention and surge of smart appliances, smart device such as  cars... that use WiFi. This  has led to a surge in the use of WiFi. There has also been a dramatic increase in WifFi use by computer users. As I noted in Vortices and Spirals WifFi is death star technology and creates negative vortices over time. This has had a devastating affect on our Mother. 5G is around the corner. Basically we are increasing the veracity of our microwaving of Mother Earth.

What am I talking about?

Think of what microwaving does to food. Think how you are told not to get too many X-rays. 

I need to look at some other sites but I am beginning to get an inkling that  we are starting to more vividly see the damaging consequences of the microwaving of our Mother.

Areas

Pictured are the Manitou Stones I found on the trail. Years ago I was not attuned to Manitous the way I am today. There were also several other stones near the Mantious which made me wonder whiter there was a larger structure there at some time.

The the trails to the Glen and the Back Woods were un-navigitable, particularly the one for the Back Woods. I could get into the area of the Glen but the trail was gone.

The Holy Ridge was still incredible. The trail up was in good shape. The vibe was still very positive to extremely positive in the sacred areas, although the vortex had diminished to a vortex ring. I just love this place.

Pick a spot you can't go wrong on the Holy Ridge.

A sure sign that I have been someplace are flat stones resting against a tree awaiting to become prayer stones. They say that we unconsciously leave behind things at a place because we want to come back to it. There are lots and lots of prayer stones resting against trees at Muller Hill.
