Study Shows the Health Benefits of Following the Interior Building Design of Indian Vastu

Vastu is an Indian philosophy of interior home design to promote well-being. Consider it like Chinese Feng Shui.

MAHARISHI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY recently released a study that analyzed outstanding research on Vastu going back forty years. Some of the finding were,

• Sleeping with one’s head to the east or south is associated with positive health outcomes, such as lower heart rate, blood pressure, and serum cholesterol levels.
• Homes with south entrances are associated with poorer mental health and more financial problems.
• Facing east while working is associated with greater brain coherence and faster task completion.
• Occupants of Maharishi Vastu architecture homes or office buildings show higher creativity and report improved health and quality of life.

The study also confirmed other studies that found interior design can help reduce stress.

Vastu incorporates the following principles,

The building’s main entrance is oriented to the east or north.

The building’s walls align with the cardinal directions.

The floor plan assigns key functions to specific locations within the building.

The floor plan enables occupants to face the most ideal directions during work and sleep.

The architectural plans must adhere to consistent and precise guidelines.

In keeping with the idea of providing a healthy environment, the system emphasizes non-toxic, natural materials, increased fresh air, and reduced electromagnetic radiation.

I would emphasize that EMF's have become one of the most important variables that influences health and well-being. So reduce technology and electrical devices in your home. Technology Kills.

My methodology of space sees the consciousness of a space trumping interior design. My work has consistently found that loving, healing and positive thoughts and actions promote well-being and spiritual development. Just think of how you feel in a toxic environment where violent actions have taken place, or a place where our Mother/Nature has violated, or polluted. No matter how savvy you are with your interior design it will be seriously challenged to overcome a space with negative consciousness,

My view of space places emphasis on the consciousness (is it loving, or is it violent?). A extremely positive vibe will always trump any interior design miscues. That is because as the Hindu and Hermetic traditions say, ENERGY FOLLOWS THOUGHT. Consciousness equates to thought, material objects such as your home and furniture are energy.

Vastu can certainly help tweak your home. Ultimately it is what is in your heart that matters. I have been in many homes that were well designed, pleasing to the eye and had lovely furniture; yet I felt like I was in a refrigerator--cold as hell even if it was sizzling outside. It comes from years of doing field work and learning that there is something going on underground that attracts lightning strikes. Clean Energy is a Problem

 On several times on this blog I have talked about how bad windmills are for the environment: Wind Turbines Are Bad for Mother Earth and for ALL of Creation

Similarly solar panels take huge amounts of energy to make, create harmful "dirty electricity" during their use and when discarded pollute the environment as refuse. The estimates about the useful life of solar  panels are too optimistic as people have been turning them in at a faster clip to get more efficient panels. As more people begin using solar panels we will be challenged to get rid of all the solar panels and the calculated costs to deal with them will be thrown out the window.

NY State Residents Please Contact the DEC About Onondaga Lake

 Friends,

I got the following from Friends of The Onondaga Nation requesting NYS residents contact the DEC asking that Onondaga Lake not be removed from the list of polluted lakes.

Onondaga Lake is sacred to the Haudenosaunee (Iroqois) and where the Tree of Peace was planted and the Great Law was given to the people--American Democracy is modeled after the Great Lake.

The deadline is February 11th:

NYS DEC has released their 2020-2022 List of Impaired Waters (water bodies damaged by human activity). The details of the changes are complicated and throw out analysis using fish tissue sampling, with no further data to support the decision to remove nearly twenty percent (20%) of polluted water bodies from this list. This includes Onondaga Lake- a closed industrial landfill- which should continue to be listed for dangerous levels of mercury, PC’S, and dioxins present in the Onondaga Lake ecosystem.

In your email or letter, request a public comment period extension to March 1st, 2022. 

Include your reasons, which might be:

-Not enough notice for informed public input.

-DEC has given no explanation for the “flaws in the analysis” that are being used as the reason for removing these damaged water bodies from their 2020-2022 List of Impaired Waters.

-Covid complications and the precautions necessary regarding the omicron variant increase the time necessary for collaboration with diverse communities to provide helpful comments.

-Onondaga Lake is sacred to the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Onondaga.

-DEC did not consult with the Onondaga Nation: DEC has an obligation to consult with the Nation regarding Onondaga Lake, among other water bodies on their traditional territory.

At the end of your message, please request that DEC avoid confusing the public and keep these water bodies on their 2020-2022 List until they have further data to support their safe removal.

 The Winter Solstice will be at 10:59EST today. The days will begin to get longer as the heart of winter approaches.

Go outside and take in Nature and our Mother. Go for a hike in the. woods. Hug a tree. Say thanks. Do something that has you connecting with Mother Earth.

Not A Sky God Event

Surf the net today and you will find lots of pictures of Stonehenge or stone chambers implying that these structures were created to take in the solstice or some celestial event. Wrong!

Most stone structures were constructed to tap into Earth Energies and work with our Mother to create a new birth as I have written about on this blog.

Updating Sacred Sites--Camden, New Jersey

Since I published Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT,ONT) That Changed the World in 2017 I have continued to look for and survey locations that have Fields of Consciousness (FOC).   Recently I visited a friend in Camden, New Jersey.

Before visiting her I mapped dowsed a map of Camden, New Jersey where she lives and found that a Field of Consciousness was located close to her home. It was a community park near the waterfront.

In the picture above my dogs are lying down in front of the FOC that is located just behind the fence.

Great souls and great events as well as social justice movements have been born or occurred closes to FOC. That is because emanate consciousness emanate  consciousness that calls us to our highest ideals.

FOC are found in America's northeast and southern Ontario, Canada. Below is a map of the area that I call North Star Country. I named it such because it was the north Star that guided freedom seekers north before the Civil Wass.
