Ley Lines Vs. Energy Lines

In a continuing effort to educate about our Mother's Hidden Body I just posted a YouTube  Video explaining  what Ley Lines and Energy Lines are, and how they are different.

Survey in Chenango County, NY--Part II

One of the more interesting and unique stone structures was a large oval shaped pile of stacked stones about 5 to 5 feet tall.

The tall oval mound consisted of stacked stones. Wha't so amazing about it is how well it has stood for thousands of years. I imagine the Early Woodland period is probably the latest it could have been built.

The tall mound of stacked stones  marked the intersection of several Energy Lines. The surrounding area did not have the charged vibe like the area of Manitou Stones.

What did have a positive vibe and charged feeling to it was the top of the stacked stones.

The picture above is of one of the sides of the stacked stones.  Notice the indented area on the center left. I imagine that this indented area contained some sort of stone stairs.

This stacked stone structure was very unique. Call it an elevated platform.

The above stone pile marked the intersection of several Ley Lines (Lines of Consciousness(LOC) or Spirit Lines.)

The picture above is of the top of the stone mound.

Notice the Manitou Stone in the center of the picture. This shows incredible and meticulous work. Detailed work like this is why you should leave stone piles alone. Don't move stones in stone piles, take them apart remove stones. Archaeologists grave robbers and looter's of sacred stones do so much damage to sacred structures. I am talking about the physical features of the structure.

The spiritual damage done by archaeologists, grave robbers and looter's of sacred stones is even worse. They destroy the vibe to the point that it can become negative to the point of geopathic stress-they destroy co-births with our Mother such as energy vortices and more.

Please leave  stone structures alone.

The Great Goddess and The St. Michael's Ley

I have been working on my next book The Environmental Crisis is A Crisis of the Heart and came across an interesting take on the St. Mchael's Ley line in southern  England one of the most famous Ley Lines in the world. It is a Ley Line that connects many holy places (stone circles, megaliths, churches...). 

A Ley Line is a very contentions term to describe holy places aligned in a straight line. Some feel that they are merely a relflection of things aligned in a straight line. Others think them to be Energy lines, or an electrical current like a meridian, or nadi. Others like me think them to be conduits of consciousness that act like superhighways in the unseen world.
As John Michell notes,

The St. Michael Line of traditional dragons sites in south-west England (…) is remarkable for its length and accuracy. It appears to be set between two prominent Somerset hills, both dedicated to St. Michael with ruined churches on their summit. 

Dragon Slayer?
Really?
Monica Sjoo and Barbara More in The Great Cosmic Mother, Rediscovering the Religion of the Earth have a very different take on St. Michael, on what a dragon slayer is, and what the St. Michael's line represents.
To them Dragon Slayer is another term for Goddess Slayer. Sjoo and More along with many others tell how the ancient religion of the Goddess/Nature and their matriarchal societies were assaulted by the Abrahamic patriarchal societies. You know "kill the pagans, burn the witches, Eve (evil women) is a sinner who tempted Adam(man), etc...."  

Michell in the New View of Atlantis and others have talked about how the Church went to great lengths to seize, redefine and co-opt pagan holy areas by constructing churches over them. Basically defiling them. The sacred sites that the St. Michael's Line connects is one example.

Sjoo is into sacred sites and has visited many in Europe; particularly in England. I would not be surprised if she was a dowser and that some old timers may know of her.

Sacred Sites Update--Gossamer Wood, Keepers Work on Earth Day

The Friends of Gossamer Wood gathered at Gossamer Wood on Earth Day yesterday for some Keeper's work--spiritual cleansing and fortifying, trail maintenance, and dowsing/geomancy practice. 

What was amazing was that we discovered a lot more stones, manitou stones, platform stones and the like marking  aspects of Mother Earth--Ley Lines, Energy Lines... Peter Shell and I ended up shooting a bunch of videos on the formations which I will edit and post to motherearthprayers in the next few months.

Gossamer is INCREDIBLE. I have been visiting, meditating, leading group meditations and connecting to our Mother for over a decade there. Then today we discover all this incredible stone work. WOW. The area between the western boundary and the creek is loaded. It's been hidden in plain sight for thousands of years. This is just another wonderful aspect of Gossamer.

Peter found this very interesting formation. The two staffs going horizontally (1 checkered, 1 white) mark a Ley Line. The while the three vertical staffs mark Energy Lines.  Stones mark the intersection of Ley Lines and Energy Lines. SEE RELATED PICTURE BELOW.

Sacred Sites Update--Gossamer's Sacred Stones

We are in the process of trying to turn Gossamer Wood Retreat Healing Center into a sacred preserve for all to enjoy. I am negotiating the terms with owner Bill Dewey; the price and how much time we will have to raise money before the he sells the land along with his house.

I went there with Tim Hart and joined others in trail work and cleaning. In anticipation of the land becoming part of a land trust we created a new trail with a separate entryway north of the house so that there would be access once the house sold. The trail connects to the existing trail system. 

Ancient Area

I refer to the new area as the Ancient Area because it is evident that it was a very sacred area at one time and those spiritual embers remain. The vibe is very positive and there are several stones and stone structures located in this new area. Stones that were strategically placed to tap into Mother Earth. We found a few more this past Saturday.

I was aware of a group of boulders along the trail, but it was only when Kareen and Brooke kept telling me how very powerful they felt it was that I investigated them.

They were right. The stones are located over an aspect of Mother Earth. Here are some pictures.

 Four stones are contained in the area

 Kareen and Brooke are seated on the larger stone. They said that they felt female energy and it felt good to be there, as if there mood had been elevated. And that certain parts seemed to be warm.

 The black etching is a rough approximation of the shape of the aspect of Mother Earth. I have seen similar, in fact one such one is located on one of the offshoots of the original trail system.  It appears to have something to do with feelings, mood and emotions. But, that could be just the way the energy feels and it could have another function.

Coincidence, or intentionally placed?

The question always is,  were the stones strategically located there, or was it Mother Earth that moved them.

Some feel that the placement of such stones is always because of glacial movements. Since learning of a stone bursting forth from within the earth in Eldbridge (Mother Earth Wells Up a Boulder at Sacred Site (Sikh) in Eldbridge, NY) I must consider that perhaps the stones did the same here, in response to spiritual activities; either directly above or close by. I think  this is a remote possibility.

Interestingly, since I made the post about the stone welling up at Eldbridge Joscelyn Godwin contacted me and told me about the mention of this phenonnon in the his book Upstate Cauldron: Eccentric Spiritual Movements in Early New York State (page 60) that folkloric belief was  that stones would be used to mark hidden treasure and they would well up on occasions.

The case for placement by people hinges on two factors.
1)The vibe which is very to extremely positive over the stones and less only  ten feet away. A positive vibe forms in response to good intentions, prayer, ceremony, altruism.
2) A water dome has also formed underneath the stones. A water dome is water that formed deep in the earth in response to prayer/cermonty/good acts and attempts to bubble up to surface but reaches a point where is blocked. It starts to expand creation an undergourn water pool. Eventually pressure builds and water veins (streams) break off.  This dome has 3 water veins.

Another Manitou Stone

There are several manitou stones, upright stones buried in the earth often marking Ley Lines or Energy Lines, found at Gossamer.

I found another one Saturday close to where the sacred boulders are located. It was not very big and had sunk into the earth and had begun to lean. But it was thin and had a gravestone like shape. It  marked the intersection of two Ley Lines--perpendicular to each other.

 The Manitou is located on the trail and is less than a foot tall and leans back. Kareen and Brooke are in the distance sitting on the large stones.

In the picture above my dowsing rods mark the trajectory of the Ley Lines. If the stone were a person one Ley Line would bisect the body directly head on, while the other would go though the shoulders. The key is that they are perpendicular to each other.

Exploring for Sacred Sites--The Manitou Stone near the Irish Hollow Section of the Onondaga Trail

Yesterday I explored the Irish Hollow Trail portion of the Onondaga Trail in Central NY looking for sacred stone mounds, Manitou stones, or whatever else I could find. Fortunately I found a Manitou stone, or upright stone, pictured below.

It takes a bit to get to the location; but is well worth it, as there  is a lovely stream walk once you are there. Going the other way you can climb to the top of Midhum Hill, which has some spectacular views in the fall. In the link above the directions begin at the top of Midum Hill. I began at the end of Pardee or Campbell Hill Road; you could also begin in Cuyler, NY.

The Manitou is not too far after the Scenic Spur for Irish hollow descends to the stream.

This is the marker you will see where the trail branches off if you begin in Cuyler, or Pardee Road. It is a quick and steep descent to the stream.

I wish I would have had my hiking poles for the steep descent down to the stream. After you cross the stream and begin rising, stop once you stop climbing and the trail flattens out. The Manitou stone is up the hill and to your left. Take out your dowsing rods and ask to be directed to the Manitou; or if you prefer the Ley lines.

A Manitou Stone is an upright stone in the ground. Many will tell you it looks like a gravestone. Some are sunk way down because of all the debris (earth, leaves...) that have accumulated over the centuries.

In the pictures below the dog leashes outline the two Ley Lines that intersect at the Manitou Stone. Notice how one Ley Line traverses across the wide part of the Manitou stone, while the other intersects it perpendicularly. If the Manitou were a person one Ley Lines would enter at one shoulder and exit at  the other; while another would enter perpendicular to your body. This is the classic pattern found in Manitou Stones in the northeast and in other parts of the world.

If you find the Manitou Stone say a prayer, give thanks, or do a ceremony. If you have time, meditate. This stone was originally placed there thousands of years ago to honor the sacredness of the Ley Lines and Mother Earth. Your positive thoughts and intentions will help recharge it.

While many ancient Native American sacred sites have been destroyed by development, farming and looting. The woods in the northeast of America are still filled with tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, or more of Manitou stones, upright stones, stone mounds, stone chambers, platforms, earthen mounds and ... highlighting aspects of  Mother Earth's subtle body. These are smaller, less ostentatious, or less noticeable, so they have not succumbed and remain hidden, or in places not yet "civilized(?)". Often it is because of their nondescript appearance that they have been saved. (See my THE DONALD TRUMP (OSTENTATIOUS) THEORY OF SACRED SITES.)

Working with stone and Mother Earth was a  common practice when Native Americans were focused on Earth Energies (and consciousness) long ago. Sadly this art is only practiced by a few people today.

If you are not a dowser I encourage you to learn dowsing and geomancy skills and begin taking in the wonder in the woods near you. You don't have to travel far.  All sorts of precious sacred stones and more as in the picture above are there waiting for you. To be discovered, to be honored and to be prayed over. ENJOY!

Charged Ley Lines Article

CHARGED LEY LINES

Imagine my surprise when I ran across a charged ley line last December.  I have been scouring the Northeast for ley lines, or what I call "Spirit Lines," for over 15 years.  Then, KABOOM!

I felt – profoundly felt -- a ley line as I walked over it at Hipp Brook Preserve in Penfield, NY.  I was so moved that I decided to incorporate Hipp Brook and its charged ley line in my book, Sacred Sites in North Star Country, after I had already finished the book and was doing final edits.  Interestingly, in the previous few months, I consistently ran into ley lines that had a nice vibe, but nothing near to the feeling of this line.  

In the photo below, my measuring staff shows the direction of the ley line.  In the upper center you can see a series of large rocks marking the ley line.  My dog, Pepper, is on the trail that the ley line crosses.  The bench is next to the ley line.

A "charged" ley line is a ley line that carries a powerful dose of Christ Consciousness.  If you are at all sentient of Mother Earth, earth energies, or life force (Earth prana) that you attract during energy healing, then there is a good chance you will be able to sense and feel the effects of a charged ley line if you come across one.

Most of us have never experienced a charged ley line because we have never encountered one.  That’s because they have lost their charge.  I imagine that parts of a great many ley lines were once charged…so where have all the charged ley lines gone?

To understand why ley lines have lost their charge we must look at what ley lines are, and understand "consciousness."  I adhere to the Eastern philosophy that we exist in a sea of consciousness.

What is consciousness?  It is everything.  The air, the land, our bodies, our actions, our thoughts are all consciousness. Essentially, all that exists is consciousness and what we call "reality" is the interplay of consciousness with itself.

Consciousness has an associated morality.  Just as there are positive and negative energy vortices, so there is positive and negative consciousness.  Positive consciousness at its most extreme is the law of love, do unto others, altruism, compassion.   Negative consciousness at its farthest extreme is the law of self-interest, selfishness, cruelty, violence, etc.  All consciousness lies along this continuum from very positive to very negative.

As I noted in Vortices and Spirals, consciousness interacts with the consciousness it comes in contact with and looks to balance out and find equilibrium.  For example, imagine a hot air duct in a house emitting hot air from the dryer into the cold air outside.  The hot and cold air will seek balance.  Thus, the temperature around the duct will be a warmer than the air outside, but it will be colder that the warm air that is being released.  The air will grow colder the farther it moves from the duct.  So it is with consciousness:  when positive consciousness meets with negative consciousness it will seek balance and equilibrium, the same as temperature does.

While there are many opinions about what ley lines are, I believe them to be carriers of consciousness in the unseen world.  They are a permeable conduit, and as such they can become a mode of transport for beings in the unseen world.  Viewed as such, the theories that ley lines are used as faery paths and spirit paths, and are habited by UFOs and aliens, make sense.  Similarly, many see ley lines linking like-minded institutions or places of worship, or what John Michell calls “Ley Consciousness” as an ancestral memory of alignments.

Charged ley lines are rare because they have been sullied, contaminated, tainted, polluted, desecrated, and worse.  Ley lines originate from Mother Earth’s Soul, from an area I call North Star Country (the Northeast of the USA, with central New York being the center.)  They start out carrying Christ Consciousness, which is quickly contaminated.  Sometimes they are contaminated at the get-go because most of the world is caked over with violence, selfishness, technology, etc.  The longer an area has been inhabited, the greater the chances that consciousness of the land will be negative.

Consciousness interacts with the consciousness it comes in contact with.  So the Christ Consciousness that a ley line carries quickly encounters negative consciousness (space) and loses it charge.  Very positive consciousness progressively diminishes and becomes more negative the farther it gets from its point of origination in North Star Country.  It can even become very negative.

The charged ley line at Hipp Brook was special because I experienced its point of origination (a Field of Consciousness).  Hipp Brook was once a sacred place and has a very positive vibe.  And because it is a wetland preserve, people have not spent much time there, polluting it with their actions and intentions.

I believe I have encountered many charged ley lines in powerful Fields of Consciousness where ley lines originate.  Yet the one at Hipp Brook was the line that I noticed.  Perhaps that is because I needed to tell the world about charged ley lines and the potential they hold to transform and advance our collective consciousness.  So I'm doing that through this article and will do so through my presentation at the ASD Convention.

Cinnamon Hill State Forest Survey

I had a chance to visit Cinnamon Hill NYS DEC Forest which straddles Schuyler and Steuben counties last week. One of the DEC folks in Albany told me that there were stone mounds there. My hope was that some of them were ancient Indigenous sites marking out aspects of Mother Earth such as I have found at Hi Tor. There were many stone piles and remnants of old buildings, but no ancient ceremonial sites on aspects of Mother Earth. But I only scratched the surface of the area.

I did find what may be the remnants of a once Charged Ley Line. As I have been noting in my talks and in my YouTube video on Charged Ley Lines they are  found all over the place, particularly in the northeast.

Below are some of the pictures of what I found.

The picture above, and the closeup below, is of two stones on a Ley Line. Whether this was intentional or coincidental is difficult to determine. There are not many Ley Lines in the area and the area has been farmed and logged; so this would bode for it once being a Charged Ley Line.  But then again, there was no charge--or positive vibe left. Do the stones mark what was once a Charged Ley Line?

Space The Final Frontier--Charged Ley Lines

I have gone back to posting on YouTube at MotherEarthPrayers after 5-6 years. I will be producing a series "Space the Final Frontier" that believes that the Final Frontier is within us and next to us and not in outer space, or with technology. The series will explore the mystical world, Mother Earth and how to raise your consciousness and our collective consciousness. 

The "Charged Ley Line" video is a condensed version of a presentation I gave to the Finger Lakes Dowsers on January 19, 2017. It tells about Ley Lines, Charged Ley Lines and concludes with a meditation. Meditating on a Ley Line significantly increases the benefits and experience of meditation and will not only charge the Ley Line, but the space around it. It is a powerful tool, for you to use and that can benefit all of humanity and Mother Earth as well. If we are going to make a better world and raise our collective consciousness it is critical we charge Ley Lines and get Mother Earth's architecture in proper working order. The video contains numerous pictures of Charged Lines and the ancient stone structure that mark them and help retain their charge. 

It should be noted that my talk at the ASD conference in Saratoga Springs Sunday (June 18) is titled Space the Final Frontier. I will also be leading group meditation on Ley Lines Lunch time and Dinner time at the conference; so you can help charge a Ley Line and purify and empower Mother Earth.

When: Saturday October 1, Rain Date Oct 2, 2016. 10 AM to 4 PM. Followed by discussion. BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH, SHARED COST FOR DINNER (if you want to stay) For those interested--Dinner, campfire, chanting/drumming to follow.

Where: Gossamer Wood, 2235 Cty. Road. 28, Canandaigua, NY

Goal: We are looking to enhance the grounds, put in some new trails and add to the powerful love that already exists at Gossamer Wood Healing Retreat Center.   In the process you will learn how to heal Mother Earth, better connect with Her and raise your consciousness and the vibe at Gossamer.

Activities: Will include trail work (maintenance, making new trails…), spiritually cleaning the sacred space,  constructing stone structures (circles, prayer stones…) meditating on prayer stones/stone circles. To perform certain tasks you will be working with L-rods (dowsing rods); instruction will be provided. Although it is not necessary to bring dowsing rods it is strongly encouraged. Please do not ask others to use their L-rods because it is like asking to use their toothbrush.

Learn, Experience, Connect, Teach: We are looking to teach you about Mother Earth and about healing and enhancing Her. We will be doing this through instruction and experientially. This will Better help you connect with Her. We want to teach you so that you can do Earth Healing yourself and teach others. We will be following small schoolroom approach where the sixth graders teach the third graders, who teach the first graders.

About Gossamer: GOSSAMER WOOD RETREAT HEALING CENTER is the home of healer (The Body Talk System and REIKI MASTER) Rev. Bill Dewey. Over the last few decades a variety of educational programs—Reiki Classes, A Course in Miracles, The Tree Whisperer, meditations, gongs, Seminars and Workshops by Doctors, etc. have taken place there.

The 12 acres of GOSSAMER WOOD sits on powerful aspects of Mother Earth, one of which I call Fields of Consciousness. A recent survey of GOSSAMER WOOD posted on this blog revealed some incredible finds just north of the existing trail system--vortices, Spirit Keeper Site, Manitou stones, Earthen mound... We will be working to link those sacred places and enhance them. 

Because Bill’s longer term plans are to create a land trust for the grounds so that they will remain a sanctuary for all to visit; we will be also begin putting in a new trail system. It will begin north of the house in the area of a future parking area for visiting pilgrims. Bill would at some point like to sell the house, but have the grounds be preserved as a sanctuary.

If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation to help pay for the construction of a new parking area, or with legal expenses for establishing a land trust, please contact Bill or myself—or bring your check book. I will give you a formal receipt.

What you should bring: Work gloves, boots are preferred (but not necessary) a seat cushion, or portable chair to sit on when meditating, a backpack, or bag to hold your stuff, several bottles of water (spiritual exercises and powerful sacred sites will increase your need for water), LUNCHEON FOOD and snacks. If interested in pizza for dinner some money to contribute—or bring your own dinner.
Please bring a pair of L-rods (dowsing rods), some basic instruction will be provided.

Again please make sure to bring some luncheon food to eat, particularly root vegetables to help ground you. GOSSAMER WOOD is a very powerful sacred site and can give you a spiritual high, bliss you out; particularly since you will be meditating and learning to better connect with your Mother.

We Need Rocks and Flat Stones: If you have any flat stones, or rocks big enough (fist size, or larger) to construct a 10-20 foot in diameter stone circle. The more the merrier. If you know of any places to get flat stones 12” to 18” in diameter please post below in the comments section.

Challenging: We will not ask anyone to do really hard work. Trail maintenance consists of raking, pruning and moving old dead tree branches to mark the trails. The greater challenge will be the big dose of Mother Earth you will be experiencing. The bulk of your time will be spent meditating and clearing up sacred space.

Parking: On the day of make sure to park snug next to other cars leaving plenty of room for others. If you not plan on staying all day, park towards the back. Please do park behind other cars. Bill can take 15-20 cars if people park considerately.
