One of the themes of my work is that memories, thoughts and actions done someplace, attach to places and nearby objects where they transpired. This was the core thesis of my book Everything Has Karma, because karma needs a memory to take place. No memory--No Karma.
A recent study came out saying that fat cells retain a memory of previous obesity, and when people lose weight that memory remains in the background encouraging weight gain. It is this memory that causes the yo-yo like fluctuations of weight loss-weight gain that many dieters succumb too.
Live Science noted,
Without weight-loss medications or bariatric surgery, most people will return to their original body mass within a few years of losing weight through a diet. This can lead to "yo-yo dieting." Scientists don't know why this happens, but genetics, environment and health history likely all play a role. Now, a study published Nov. 18 in the journal Nature adds an essential piece to this puzzle. Chemical modifications on DNA, or epigenetic markers, may help the cells retain a memory of their past state.
What is particularly interesting, arguably ironic, is that the study appeared in Nature. The same journal who blasted and ruined French scientist Jacques Benveniste for his study showing water retains a memory; and thereby legitimized homeopathy--Blasphemy.
Water does indeed retain a memory. Think of distilled water that is purified of its minerals and contaminants, people drink it to remove harmful chemicals/metals/toxins. Basically distilled water that has been purified of harmful chemicals, purifies you of harmful chemicals. It does to you what has been done to it--KARMA!
Below is a link to a video I did on the Karma of Water a while back.
