Putnam County, NY Survey- Part 4--A Strike Point

 On our survey we came upon  a tree downed by lightning. As the picture below shows it was pretty gnarly and twisted.

We are taught that lighting is created by an imbalance in the atmosphere. The negative charge in the clouds is attracted to the positive charge in the atmosphere at ground level to beget lightning strikes.

Further lighting will be attracted to the tallest, or taller objects in an area. So if you are walking in a field during a storm you may be struck by lightning because you will be the tallest object.

The earth itself is negatively charged.

Per the NOAA page:

As the storm moves over the ground, the strong negative charge in the cloud attracts positive charges in the ground. These positive charges move up into the tallest objects like trees, telephone poles, and houses. A "stepped leader" of negative charge descends from the cloud seeking out a path toward the ground. Although this phase of a lightning strike is too rapid for human eyes, this slow-motion video shows it happening.

As the negative charge gets close to the ground, a positive charge, called a streamer, reaches up to meet the negative charge. The channels connect and we see the lightning stroke. We may see several strokes using the same path, giving the lightning bolt a flickering appearance, before the electrical discharge is complete. Schumann Resonance

Lighting strikes help power the Earth's Schumann Resonance, low frequency electromagnetic waves, that many call our Mother's (Earth) heartbeat. In the early 1960's NASA found astronauts were physically affected when deprived of the Schumann Resonance so they created devices to simulate it  for astronauts to take with them on their voyages.

NASA's explanation of Schumann Resonance:

At any given moment about 2,000 thunderstorms roll over Earth, producing some 50 flashes of lightning every second. Each lightning burst creates electromagnetic waves that begin to circle around Earth captured between Earth's surface and a boundary about 60 miles up. Some of the waves - if they have just the right wavelength - combine, increasing in strength, to create a repeating atmospheric heartbeat known as Schumann resonance. This resonance provides a useful tool to analyze Earth's weather, its electric environment, and to even help determine what types of atoms and molecules exist in Earth's atmosphere.

The waves created by lightning do not look like the up and down waves of the ocean, but they still oscillate with regions of greater energy and lesser energy. These waves remain trapped inside an atmospheric ceiling created by the lower edge of the "ionosphere" - a part of the atmosphere filled with charged particles, which begins about 60 miles up into the sky. In this case, the sweet spot for resonance requires the wave to be as long (or twice, three times as long, etc) as the circumference of Earth. This is an extremely low frequency wave that can be as low as 8 Hertz (Hz) - some one hundred thousand times lower than the lowest frequency radio waves used to send signals to your AM/FM radio. As this wave flows around Earth, it hits itself again at the perfect spot such that the crests and troughs are aligned. Voila, waves acting in resonance with each other to pump up the original signal.

While they'd been predicted in 1952, Schumann resonances were first measured reliably in the early 1960s. Since then, scientists have discovered that variations in the resonances correspond to changes in the seasons, solar activity, activity in Earth's magnetic environment, in water aerosols in the atmosphere, and other Earth-bound phenomena.

Okay lightning plays an important role in powering our Mother's geomagnetic field that has an influence upon human life and well-being.

Is there more to the Earth--Lightning relationship? 

Yes.

Strike Points

I believe there is much more to the Earth-Lighting relationship. One of which are Strike Points.

A Strike Point is an aspect of Mother Earth, a feature, like a part of the human body only it is part of our Mother's Unseen, or Subtle Body. A Strike Point is a receptacle meant to capture lighting strikes to better facilitate the transfer of electricity from lightning to power the telluric currents in our Mother, the earth.

How does this all mesh with scientific thought about the process of lighting strikes? Are lightning strikes drawn to Strike Points and tall objects are struck because they lie between the sky and a Strike Point? Is the area of a Strike Point struck because the geomagnetic force is low in that area and needs o be replenished? Or are Strike Points merely a coincident indicator? What about?

Currently I really don't know how much influence a Strike Point has in this process. 

What I do know is that I consistently find Strike Points close to where Lightning has struck.  I have often dowsed out Strike Points close to objects that have been hit by lighting.

Again,  I have consistently found Strike Points close to lighting struck objects like  the tree in the picture below.

In the picture above the Strike Point is within 5 to 10 feet of the tree's trunk.

The stone in front of the tree is a Manitou Stone.

I mention Strike Points because I will be adding locating them to my business/activity of water dowsing for wells. I  will also be including other services related to the earth. I plan on setting up a webpage for my services.

Knowing if you live close to a Strike Point is important because if you live close to a one there is an increased chance that your home or property will be struck by lightning.

Lighting can indeed strike twice, thrice or more. Peter Shell tells me that his grandparents home was struck four times. 

Would you feel comfortable living in a home next to, or even on a Strike Point?

Putnam County, NY Survey- Part 5 -Balanced Rock

Another interesting stone formation that we found on our survey was a Balanced Rock perched on top of a hill near its edge. Evidently a glacier had placed the large boulder there and had even swept supporting stones underneath it.  

In the picture below the balanced rock is pictured in the upper center of the picture.

Putnam County, NY is littered with large rocks as is much of downstate, NY.

A closer look.

My staff is five feet high in increments of one foot. In the picture above the boulder appears to be about eight feet tall.

The close up above shows that the boulder is being balanced by large rocks underneath it. There appears to be no earth energies  associated with the boulder above, or the large rocks balancing it; or least that I felt or could dowse out.

Another Report Says We Are Underestimating Climate Change, Life Extinction Events Coming

 A new report came out highlighting a disturbing trend that we are underestimating climate change and the consequences are going to be devastating. Saying that we cannot grasp how dire the situation is. 

As I have written before the forecasts for climate change continue to worsen and worsen. 

REPORT Underestimating the Challenges of Avoiding a Ghastly Future

"We report three major and confronting environmental issues that have received little attention and require urgent action. First, we review the evidence that future environmental conditions will be far more dangerous than currently believed. The scale of the threats to the biosphere and all its lifeforms—including humanity—is in fact so great that it is difficult to grasp for even well-informed experts. Second, we ask what political or economic system, or leadership, is prepared to handle the predicted disasters, or even capable of such action. Third, this dire situation places an extraordinary responsibility on scientists to speak out candidly and accurately when engaging with government, business, and the public. We especially draw attention to the lack of appreciation of the enormous challenges to creating a sustainable future. The added stresses to human health, wealth, and well-being will perversely diminish our political capacity to mitigate the erosion of ecosystem services on which society depends. The science underlying these issues is strong, but awareness is weak. Without fully appreciating and broadcasting the scale of the problems and the enormity of the solutions required, society will fail to achieve even modest sustainability goals."

2020 Ties 2016 as the Hottest Year On Record

It seems almost incomprehensible given that Covid-19 decimated global economies and dramatically reduced the rate of pollution that 2020 would tie 2016 as the hottest on record. Sad.

Our Legacy of Pollution in Particular Plastic Pollution

In the coming of age movie The Graduate Dustin Hoffman was offered all sorts of career advice, most notably to pursue a career in plastics--"one word, plastics!" Indeed, plastics have become a huge industry that has altered how we live. Unfortunately, plastics have also become a major source of pollution, so much so that states have outlawed the use of plastic bags for retail stores. Our environment is full of plastic litter. There are even large floating flotillas of plastic in our oceans that kill aquatic life and end up on our beaches.

Antiquity magazine recently reported that an Iron Age fort in Wales, Castell Henllys, a well maintained archaeological site has seen an inordinate amount of plastic litter. Saying,

 Plastic entering the archaeological and geological record may be the defining signature of the Anthropocene. Amidst the growing awareness of the role of plastic in marine pollution, this study demonstrates its terrestrial ubiquity. The excavation of two experimentally reconstructed roundhouses built on their original sites at Castell Henllys Iron Age fort, Wales, reveals evidence of 30 years of heritage interpretation and visitor activity. The nature and extent of the cultural material recovered accurately reflects known activities at this heritage site, but also reveals an unexpected amount of plastic debris in archaeological contexts, indicating how, even in well-managed contexts, plastic is entering terrestrial deposits. The Iron Age in the Plastic Age: Anthropocene signatures at Castell Henllys

So places we meticulously clean and maintain are still barraged with plastic litter. Sad.

No Life Force, No Alien Life

One of the questions that has been pondered and debated for some time is whether there is alien life on other planets. For years I have felt the answer is no, although I do believe that there are beings in other realities. 

I bring this question up because I am currently working on my next book about how the environmental crisis is a spiritual crisis of the heart; that our treatment of our Mother (Earth) and each other is bereft of love and that lack of love is behind our environmental crisis. One of the consequences of not treating each other, or our Mother in the spirit of love is that it affects the flow and functioning of the Life Force, or what I also refer to as Earth Prana.

My interest in the Life Force was piqued while writing a chapter on how ancient cultures understood the functioning and operation of the Life Force and looked to work with it and enhance it--for the betterment of health and life. The exact opposite of our supposed "advanced technological society" that is unaware of its importance and actually does great harm to its proper functioning and in the process threatens our health and the existence of all of life. The question became what is the Life Force?

Acupuncturist's and Daoist's call it chi, Hindu's call it prana  followers of Wilhelm Reich call it orgone... It gives life to all of existence. It is said that as long as we retain the Life Force we are alive and it is only when it departs our body that we are truly dead.

Energy Healers such as those practicing Therapeutic Touch, or Reiki will tell you that the proper functioning and movement of the Life Force is critical to your health and well being. And if its movement is impeded, disrupted, or reduced illness will soon follow.

Okay. If we believe Energy Healers, mystics and the eastern traditions the LIfe Force sustains and gives life to all of existence.

No LIfe Force = No Life

The Life Force moves across the surface of the earth and all of life is bathes in it 24/7. Think of it being like a large ocean where fish swim in it, only it is sea of energy in which we live, breathe and walk in. The video below shows how prana moves across the surface of our Mother.

Then I thought if the Life Force truly sustains all of Life astronauts should be immersed in it during their space voyages. They are not.

How can this be? Then I thought that food contains the Life Force and nourishes astronauts in space; but they are pretty depleted after long stays in space. And NASA has to simulate Schumann Resonance, which has been called the Earth's Heartbeat, for space travel otherwise astronauts get sick. We also don't really know how long people can live away from our Mother, the planet earth.

So is the Life Force on other planets? Because if there is no Life Force on other planets one would assume there is no life on that planet.

In the picture of the surface of the moon above there is no Life Force or movement thereof.

In the picture of the surface of the planet Mars above there is no Life Force or movement thereof.

In the picture of the surface of the planet Pluto above there is no Life Force or movement thereof.

A proponent of alien life could certainly argue that just because the Life Force does not exist in our solar system life may exist in some far off galaxy. Send me the pictures.

The bigger question remains, what is the Life Force? Is it what really defines being alive and gives life?

An important question to ask because science and technology are unknowingly messing with it and threaten all of existence as I discuss in my upcoming book.

If there is no Life Force on other planets it does not necessarily me that there are not beings in other realities.

Alternative Realities, Disenchantment

I believe that what many see as UFO's may be earth energies messing with people's perceptions as noted with Dr. Michael Persinger and his God Helmet or even the work of Ley Hunter Paul Devereaux in his books like Earth Lights Revelation: Ufo's and Mystery Lightform Phenomena : The Earth's Secret Energy Force.

There is also the spector of other dimensions, or alternative realities such as that of  scientist turned ufologist Jacques Vallée and his interdimensional hypothesis or Richard Thompson in his Alien Identities : Ancient Insights into Modern UFO Phenomena

I argued the similar in my recent book Everything Has Karma: Learning to Embrace Our Interconnectedness. That we are united and bound to each other through a shard reality that I call a circle. It is that shared reality that unites us. Other realities are all around us.

What we call aliens, or ghouls, or entities are what eons ago Telluric People would have been called elf, fairies, Nature Spirits, Demons and the like. They saw magic in a world of fairies, we don't we see alien beings. Alien, foreign, different--not magic. The world has become disenchanted with Nature as social scientist Max Weber wrote over a hundred years ago. WE no longer see magic and marvel and awe at the natural world. Instead we mine, drill, explore and look for the freakish whether they be aliens or ghosts.

Without the Life Force there can be no life on other planets, or at least in  the way we define life. So we would have to assume that there are no aliens in our shared reality we call the universe.
