Consciousness Research with Halucingenics and Tripping Shamans Confirm Vortex Directional Spin

Dear Dowsers,

One of the challenges when I was writing Vortices and Spirals a few years ago was to verify the directional spin of energy vortices. This is the most important distinquishing feature of an energy vortex.

Positive Energy Vortices--spin clockwise in the Northern Hemsishpere and counter-clockwise in the Southern hemisphere.

While,

Negative Energy Vortices--spin counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

This is because of the earth spin and is called the coriolis effect.

Fortunately I was able to contact Alanna Moore of Geomantica, who at the time was still living in Australia. She confirmed that positive vortices spin counter-clockwsise in the Southern Hemisphere, and negative ones spin clockwise.

In researching my upcoming book, Adena Ceremonial Sites,  I have been listening to a lot of Graham Hancock Videos on YouTube, Yesterday I was listening  to the following recent post,

Graham Hancock Solves the Greatest Puzzles in Human History [FULL VIDEO]

Graham has done a lot excellent work on showing how archaeology, science and history is wrong; and that there were ancient cultures in existence long before what we currently believe.

In this video Graham talks about the research done by western scientists to study altered states of consciousness using drugs such as LSD, psylocibin etc. He notes that the forms people see in early stages of altered states are very similar and are called Entoptic Phenomena.

In the chart below he compares the Entoptic Phenonma of western volunteers, the set of forms on top to the forms seen by shamans in South America on the hallucenagenic Ayahuasca, forms on the bottom.

So on top we have the forms people that people see on hallucinogenics in the Northern Hemisphere; versus on the bottom for shamans on hallucinogenics in the southern hemisphere.

Notice the spiral on top--northern hemisphere--spins clockwise, it is a positive evergy vortex.

The spiral on the bottom--southern hemisphere--spins counterclockwise, it is a positive energy vortex.

So both groups have visions of positive energy vortices and because of where they live have different directional spins.

Very, very interesting to this dowser.

We got it right.

Blessings,
madis

Thanksgiving Day, Giving Thanks at Onondaga Lake Pictures

We had a lovely giving of thanks Thanksgiving day at the Willow Bay section of Onondaga Lake.

The Circle is beginning to form.

Jack Manno addresses the crowd on behalf of the Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation.

Sacred Sites Update-- Peacemaker's Sanctuary The Water has Receded

It is safe to visit the Peacemaker's Sanctuary at Onondaga Lake. It my last post Sacred Sites Update-- The Peacemaker's Sanctuary is Flooded I had noted that the area was flooded. The water has significantly receded as the pictures below show. While there still are a few wet spots, feel free to visit this most holy of holy places.

The overflow from the culvert is still a little high.

You can see the far bench on a Stacked 12 Field of Consciousness in the distance

The immediate area around the far bench is dry.

The Climate Crisis? It’s Capitalism, Stupid

Op-ed in the NY Times argues that climate change is a function of capitalism.

The Climate Crisis? It’s Capitalism, Stupid

"The real culprit of the climate crisis is not any particular form of consumption, production or regulation but rather the very way in which we globally produce, which is for profit rather than for sustainability. So long as this order is in place, the crisis will continue and, given its progressive nature, worsen. This is a hard fact to confront. But averting our eyes from a seemingly intractable problem does not make it any less a problem. It should be stated plainly: It’s capitalism that is at fault...

There are many reasons we do not typically talk about climate change in this way. The wealthy are holding fast to theirs. Bought politicians and state violence are on their side. Eco-apartheid is not yet seen as full-on apartheid. Everyday people have plenty to keep up with, and they don’t want to devote their precious time off work to often tedious political meetings. The inertia, it is sad to say, makes enough sense...

The problem with the general view that intelligence will save us is that it involves pinning the failures of capitalist society on supposedly dumb people (them), who, so the logic goes, need to be replaced with supposedly smart ones (us). This is a spectacular delusion...

The claim here is not that unintelligent people do not do unintelligent things, but rather that the overwhelming unintelligence involved in keeping the engines of production roaring when they are making the planet increasingly uninhabitable cannot be pinned on specific people. It is the system as a whole that is at issue, and every time we pick out bumbling morons to lament or fresh-faced geniuses to praise is a missed opportunity to see plainly the necessity of structural change.

Put differently, the hope that we can empower intelligent people to positions where they can design the perfect set of regulations, or that we can rely on scientists to take the carbon out of the atmosphere and engineer sources of renewable energy, serves to cover over the simple fact that the work of saving the planet is political, not technical. We have a much better chance of making it past the 22nd century if environmental regulations are designed by a team of people with no formal education in a democratic socialist society than we do if they are made by a team of the most esteemed scientific luminaries in a capitalist society. The intelligence of the brightest people around is no match for the rampant stupidity of capitalism.

On the defensive for centuries, socialists have become quite adept at responding to objections from people for whom the basic functions of life seem difficult to reproduce without the motive power of capital. There are real issues here, issues that point to the opacity of sociability, as Bini Adamczak’s recent book, “Communism for Kids,” playfully explores. But the burden of justification should not fall on the shoulders of those putting forward an alternative. For anyone who has really thought about the climate crisis, it is capitalism, and not its transcendence, that is in need of justification. And don’t be surprised, or fooled, when its defenders point to the tireless work of intelligent people."

The Biggest Atheists

The memorial vigil at Gobind Sadan in remembrance of the burning down of the old temple 16 years ago on Saturday was wonderful. I did not realize that I was to speak until I saw my name on the program; but it worked out okay.

Head of the Sikh community Ralph Singh mentioned an interesting quote from Baba Ji  (Baba Virsa Singh Ji) founder of Gobind Sadan,

"Those that commit acts of violence in the name of religion are the biggest atheists in the world."

Gossamer Wood (Canandaigua, NY) Visit Tuesday

The weather forecast for Tuesday is sunny with a high in the low 50's. If you would like to go to Gossamer on Tuesday please email me. If enough people are interested we will go.

Gossamer Wood is listed on pages 325 to 323 of Sacred Sites in North Star Country. Come spring we will initiate an effort to purchase the 9 acres and turn it into a sacred preserve for all to enjoy.

The grounds of Gossamer are dedicated to Mother Earth, particularly to Fields of Consciousness (FOC.) The trail system meanders through FOC as high as S12 (the highest), other divine aspects of Mother Earth, healing places, a Spirit Keeper’s (pre Iroquois culture) site and numerous vortices. Hundreds of flat stones and stone structures, where people have prayed, or meditated, are located on the grounds to guide you to the ‘hot spots’, for lack of a better world. The vibe runs from very positive, to extremely positive. It is a very powerful place that will raise your consciousness and nourish your soul. It is one of the top places listed in Sacred Sites in North Star Country.

Sacred Sites Update--Sampson State Park, White Deer

For those interested tours are starting November 16th to take you to see the  WHITE DEER at the old Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, NY close to Sampson NYS Park on Seneca Lake. For more information go to, Seneca White Deer, a not for profit. White deer flourished on the grounds of the  old Seneca Depot after it was closed and fenced in.

This is great news.

In the final edits of my review of Sampson State Park in Sacred Sites in North Star Country (Pages 278-281) I removed mention of the effort to save the deer because the Seneca Depot property was sold and there was no clear indication that the deer would be saved.

WSTM's Brett Hall did a great segment on the White Deer and the tours, White deer tours start at former army depot Nov. 16th.

Vigil at Gobind Sadan in memory of the arson that burned down tehtemple 15 Years Ago

From Ralph Singh of Gobind Sadan, You will have a chance afterwards to meditate in the powerful meditation center.

“Gathering around the Light” – a Prayer Vigil to overcome the hatred and stop the violence
Saturday, November 18th
4 p.m.
Gobind Sadan, USA
Graves Road
Central Square, NY
http://www.gobindsadan.org/usa-website/map-directions.html

On the 16th anniversary of the post 9-11 arson attack on Gobind Sadan, USA, we invite the community to join in a memorial vigil “Gathering Around the Light” at 4:00 p.m. around the flag pole which marks the site where in the midst of the fires of hatred, our holy book, Guru Granth Sahib, did not burn.  In case of inclement weather the event will be held in the meditation center.

The Meditation Room is an incredibly powerful place that will not only  raise your consciousness (it sits on a stacked 12 Field of consciousness-the strongest)  but can help improve your meditation; because you will be soaking up the imprints of the long time meditators.

In a defining moment, instead of further stoking the fires of hatred, we went public with a powerful statement of forgiveness which brought the broader community together and began the healing process for both the arsonists and the community.

At this time when anger and hatred is leading to more senseless acts of violence we will join together to offer prayers so the light can once more overcome the darkness.

Following the vigil everyone is invited to join the Gobind Sadan community in their devotional service followed by our traditional community meal.

YouTube Video-Upstate NY Can Become a Major Destination for Spiritual Tourists

I have posted my interview with Dan Cummings(WSYR Channel 9) on his Newsmakers program to my YouTube Channel MotherEarthPrayers. In it I compare Upstate to Sedona, AZ that gets 3 million spiritual pilgrims a year to experience its vortexes. As someone that has written a book about vortexes, articles on vortexes and lectured on vortexes what we have in Upstate NY, Fields of Consciousness, are infinitely more powerful. All of the good works to have born here are a testament to the transformative power of the land: The Women's Movement, Democracy, America's Second Great Awakening, Spiritualism, the New Age Movement, Seven Day Adventists...

Sacred Sites Update--Gossamer Wood Trip Cancelled and the preserve is closed

Friends,

Due to cold weather we will not be going to Gossamer Wood this Saturday.

Also Gossamer Wood is closed at this time. We will have more announcements about this and about fund raising efforts to purchase the land and turning it into a sacred preserve for the public.

Blessings,
madis

Sacred Sites Update--Onondaga Lake; Sewage Pipe Bursts Again

The Syracuse Post Standard reported earlier that 4.5 million gallons of sewage spewed into Onondaga Lake as pipe bursts from rain. They reported today that the Broken sewer pipe near Onondaga Lake to be repaired Thursday.

This is not the first time that the pipe had burst.

It is tragic to think that one of the most sacred lakes in the world, where democracy was born and so much what we hold dear as well, is having sewage spew into it again.

Sacred Sites Update-- The Peacemaker's Sanctuary is Flooded

I went to the Peacemaker's Sanctuary this morning to see if it was possible to hold a prayer vigil there. We wanted to do something after the Texas church massacre and for all the senseless killing we have had recently.

Unfortunately the Peacemaker's Sanctuary at Onondaga Lake is flooded. The 4 to 6 inches of rain in the last few weeks has pushed up water levels as the pics below show. You might want to wait a few weeks before visiting. However, the closest bench is not underwater. Directions for the Peacemaker's Sanctuary Onondaga Lake

The far bench on the stacked 12 Field of Consciousness in the distance above and below is  under water.

You can still sit on the closest bench and take in a nice view and soak up some of Mother Earth.

US Global Change Research Program says unequivocally that Human Kind is Behind Climate Change

The U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP), established by Presidential Initiative in 1989 and mandated by Congress in the Global Change Research Act (GCRA) of 1990 to “assist the Nation and the world to understand, assess, predict, and respond to human-induced and natural processes of global change”, acknowledged that Climate Change is real and attributed it to humankind.

Highlights of the Findings of the U.S. GlobalChange Research Program Climate Science Special Report

Global average sea levels are expected to continue to rise—by at least several inches in the next 15 years and by 1–4 feet by 2100. A rise of as much as 8 feet by 2100 cannot be ruled out. Sea level rise will be higher than the global average on the East and Gulf Coasts of the United States.
Changes in the characteristics of extreme events are particularly important for human safety, infrastructure, agriculture, water quality and quantity, and natural ecosystems. Heavy rainfall is increasing in intensity and frequency across the United States and globally and is expected to continue to increase. The largest observed changes in the United States have occurred in the Northeast.
Heatwaves have become more frequent in the United States since the 1960s, while extreme cold temperatures and cold waves are less frequent. Recent record-setting hot years are projected to become common in the near future for the United States, as annual average temperatures continue to rise. Annual average temperature over the contiguous United States has increased by 1.8°F (1.0°C) for the period 1901–2016; over the next few decades (2021–2050), annual average temperatures are expected to rise by about 2.5°F for the United States, relative to the recent past (average from 1976–2005), under all plausible future climate scenarios.
The incidence of large forest fires in the western United States and Alaska has increased since the early 1980s and is projected to further increase in those regions as the climate changes, with profound changes to regional ecosystems.
Annual trends toward earlier spring melt and reduced snowpack are already affecting water resources in the western United States and these trends are expected to continue. Under higher scenarios, and assuming no change to current water resources management, chronic, long-durationhydrological drought is increasingly possible before the end of this century.
The magnitude of climate change beyond the next few decades will depend primarily on the amount of greenhouse gases (especially carbon dioxide) emitted globally. Without major reductions in emissions, the increase in annual average global temperature relative to preindustrial times could reach 9°F (5°C) or more by the end of this century. With significant reductions in emissions, the increase in annual average global temperature could be limited to 3.6°F (2°C) or less.
The global atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration has now passed 400 parts per million (ppm), a level that last occurred about 3 million years ago, when both global average temperature and sea level were significantly higher than today. Continued growth in CO2 emissions over this century and beyond would lead to an atmospheric concentration not experienced in tens to hundreds of millions of years. There is broad consensus that the further and the faster the Earth system is pushed towards warming, the greater the risk of unanticipated changes and impacts, some of which are potentially large and irreversible.

Sacred Feminine--Awareness of Sexual Assault and Earth Changes

We are witnessing a rise in our awareness over the role and status of women in our society with recent accusations of sexual assault by Harvey Weinstein and other Hollywood moguls. The response of companies to distance themselves from these individuals is encouraging. There has also been a groundswell of victims coming forward as well. All of this is very good and shows that we as a society are having a cathartic moment and evolving. Unfortunately large and powerful counter forces such as 'technology, corporations, large institutions...' are increasing their grip upon us and increasingly manipulating us more and more .

I mention this because I am currently reading a book suggested by friends  Not in His Image: Gnostic Vision, Sacred Ecology, and the Future of Belief, by John Lash Lamb. It is an interesting  look at Gnosticism and Paganism in a way I am not familiar with. As a lover of Mother Earth it is a refreshing perspective showing  how we became who we are and that long ago the subjugation of women, and Mother Earth, was not in the psyche of certain groups.

Lamb clearly lays the blame of the assault on women on Rome and the Abrahamic Traditions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam.) In my opinion Christianity became Rome when Constantine embraced it; we must separate Jesus from the Church, otherwise we promote Rome.

Lamb also says that the assault on women is tied to the assault on Mother Earth. They are inseparable. Mother Earth, is our Mother, she is the Sacred Feminine.

Here are a few quotes;
"The primary insight of ecofeminism--a term originally used in 1974 by Francoise D'Eaubonne, a French sociologist--is that domination of nature goes along with domination of women, This insight links the environmental problem to the issue of gender relations. Ecofeminist theologian Rosemary Radford Reuther stated the principle in one sentence:"There can be no liberation for women and no solution to the ecological crisis within a society whose fundamental model is domination."

"Many ecofeminists suggest that as a movement deep ecology is insufficiently sensitive to the complex ways in which naturism (domination of nature), sexism, racism and classicism interlock, and to the strategically central role of gender analysis could play in dismantling these categories.(quoting Riane Risler)Gender balance in indigenous-pre Christian societies was crucial to their sustainability, but it also made them vulnerable. Salvationist religion (Abrahamic traditions) arising from the Near East brought naturism, racism, and sexism in its wake.. (Page 45)
One of the fruits born of North Star Country was the Women's Rights Movement in Seneca Falls in 1848.  It should be noted that before the Women's Rights Movement women in the Haudenosaunee culture had enormous power; they are considered a matrilineal society.

Interesting to think that awareness of sexual assault and the domination of women is occurring at the same time as the recognition of the problem of Climate Change is growing. The Sacred Feminine is rising.

Legitimizing Dowsing and Geomancy---Consistency starts with Ley Lines

Friends,

One of the issues I am tackling is to improve the legitimacy of dowsing and geomancy. It seems whenever we get a group of dowsers together one finds one thing, another finds another thing. Probably one of the greatest controversies is over what Ley Lines are and even dowsing out, or finding Ley Lines. To that affect I put the following request below in the ASD Digest's Fall Issue, requesting pictures of Ley lines be sent to me.

If we are to elevate dowsing we need to bring greater legitimacy and consistency to it.

Blessings,
madis

PS I will post pictures as I receive them.

An Appeal for Information (Photos) on Ley Lines

Dear Fellow ASD Members,

I would appreciate your help and input. I am trying to reconcile what we in the states call ‘Ley Lines’ and what the British Society calls ‘Energy Leys.’

Recently, I submitted an article that was published in the Spring Issue of the Digest (‘Charged Ley Line’
Charged Ley Line video) to Alanna Moore of Geomantica (an excellent e-magazine dedicated to geomancy, eco-sensitivity and earth harmony.) She told me that the Irish Society ofDiviners uses the term Energy Leys and not Ley Lines and she could not publish something titled with the words, “Ley Lines.’ I told her I had no idea what Energy Leys are. Instead I told her to please use the term Lines of Consciousness (LOC), or Spirit Lines.

Then this summer when I reached out to Sig Lonegren about Stone Chambers he told me that a water line emanating from the Whangtown Stone Chamber, as I note in my article on Putnam County Stone Chambers in this issue, had an Energy Ley running next to it. I did not know what an Energy Ley was at the time (still don’t) and was not able to dowse it out. I felt pretty strongly that there was no Ley Line next to it.

Hence, why I want to distinguish what a ‘Ley Line’ is and what an ‘Energy Ley’ is.

First, I want to know what other members dowse out as a Ley Line. At this point I don’t care whether you think they are--energy, or consciousness, or a highway in the unseen world; or are part of Mother Earth, or created by humankind, or... I will attempt to hash out those issues later.

I was taught to dowse Ley Lines by well-known dowsers and have dowsed them out with many of you. I have spoken about Ley Lines within my presentations at the last two conventions and have dowsed them out with several of you. I do believe that there is much uniformity of opinion of what we dowse out as a Ley Line in the states. Again, I do not care at this point what you think they are, or are not.  I just what to know whether we do, or do not, dowse out the same thing we call a ‘Ley Line.’

Please email me, or mail me me pictures of Ley Lines you have dowsed out. If you can please send a photoshopped picture with a line marking the Line Ley. Or just send me a picture with two objects on the Ley Line that are 10-30 feet apart.

Please send to:
