Revisiting the Pyramids in Egypt

Last week I had a chance to listen to my friend Steve Wechsler give a presentation to Finger Lakes Dowsers on his trip to Egypt. Steve is a good speaker and the talk was wonderful.

As Steve spoke I remembered my visit to Egypt and the Giza Plateau with its pyramids in 1981. It came after spending two months in Saudi Arabia doing expat tax returns.

I thought back to how I blacked out several minutes while at the pyramids. I went to the Giza Plateau late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. I was mobbed by people begging--"bakseesh. baksheesh..."

To extract myself from the mini crowd I hired a fellow to take me by horseback around the pyramids. I got on the horse and began riding and the next thing I knew I had gone several hundred yards and had no recollection of what happened in between. I had blacked out and continued to function on the horse.

Back in 1981 I had yet to begin my spiritual quest and to blackout like that spoke to the powerful Earth Energies that must be at the Giza Plateau. At the time I had yet to begin my spiritual quest and it would be years before I knew it was not me, but our Mother's energies that caused my mystical experience.

The  presentation included lots of pictures on a projector. Steve said he visited the sarcophagus and  had to climb up a narrow tunnel to get to it. He then told how his group took turns sitting in it for several minutes.

I cringed.  I would never sit-in, or spend time at, a location thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, or even millions, had sat in over the centuries.  We leave an impression, a memory, of our thoughts and being wherever we go. These land memories, or imprints. can become very powerful and affect your health, well-being and even your spiritual development.

Back in n 1994/95 before I had my spiritual awakening and was still married we took a trip to Italy. We were to stay in Rome a few days before heading toe the Amalfi Coast.  I suggested we stay in the old section of Rome near the Spanish Steps. Within a few hours of arriving at our hotel I got nauseous and had a headache. Fortunately, it broke after a few hours. In retrospect it was clear that I was affected by all the land memories clinging to the land in the old section of the city. It is because of this why I cringed when Steve told of his experience.

As I was looking at some of the art Steve was showing I got the impression that it was not art that reflected the human condition or to educate; rather it struck me as being gaudy and reflective of a materialistic culture.

My thinking about the pyramids  turned. I no longer thought of the builders of the pyramids  as some advanced great culture, rather I viewed them as a materialistic, superficial culture. I thought about where I live in an area I call North Star Country because of all the Fields of Consciousness located there, and all the great movements that were launched from it--Birthplace of Democracy/the Women's Movements and religions; home to Harriet Tubman, Fredrick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony and more.

Jesus said you shall know them by their fruits. What are the fruits of those energies on the Giza Plateau? There clearly are powerful Earth Energies at the Pyramids, but they have little spiritual nutrition or consciousness raising to them.  They can black you out but not raise your consciousness. When I look to Egypt I see a country ruled by the military and with lots of poor--in my opinion that is not a great civilization.

Climate Migration--Another Report Showing Insurers Fleeing High Risk Areas--Wildfire

A recently released report, Insurers Retreat as 2025 Wildfire Risk Reaches Dangerous Levels, reiterated that insurers are abandoning high risk areas. The report found,

• When the next extreme wildfires hit – perhaps in the next few months – thousands of uninsured houses may burn down. Regional property markets will collapse: property values will drop.

•  As of the end of May there were over 200 active fires burning across Canada, half of which were classified as 0% contained or “out of control”.  This wildfire season is ramping up quickly and the data suggest the worst is yet to come.

• Home insurance premiums have shot up 42% in the most fire prone areas of California.

• One in five homes in extreme fire risk areas of California has lost coverage since 2019.
• 
  
• One in five homes in extreme fire risk areas of California has lost coverage since 2019.

• Insurance markets are a leading indicator of how financial markets will deal with the climate crisis. Just as insurers won’t do business in key areas now, so too will investors avoid those kinds of risks. Insurance markets may be the first to show the effects of the climate crisis but the disruption won’t stop there.

Pray For the Flora and Fauna

 The scorching heat this summer has brought several 90° plus temperatures approaching a real feel like 100°. Such high temperatures put inordinate stress on plants and animals. Because of this I ask that you please pray for the plants and animals throughout the day.

Anti 5G Activists Attacked With EMF Weapons in Australia

In the most recent issue of Geomantica (Issue 91 March 2025) Alanna Moore reported of her recent travels back home to Australia. She tells how anti-5G activists were attacked by some hideous EMF weapon that killed one, burned several and harmed others. Saying,

A disturbing thing I learned elsewhere in Victoria was from talking to two victims of electro-magnetic weapon attack. They had been prominently involved in the campaign against 5G technology. Then they were badly zapped in their homes and their health was instantly affected, eg hearts. They also knew of others who’d been zapped (one who subsequently died!), plus they and others told me about a big anti-5G protest in Canberra where many people suffered burns on parts of their bodies, presumably from these dreadful type of weapons being used on them.

This is a frightening and chilling chapter in the erosion of free speech in Australia. Who is behind such warfare tactics? They can be far from the attack scene and the effects, being invisible, hard to investigate, so the mystery evil-doers can get away with it. It can appear as if victims have just had a heart attack, or whatever. In this case the people I talked to knew a thing or two about e-m-r weapons. They knew that what happened to them was not a natural event. As a result, as well as having to rest and recover, some affected activists are wary of continuing the good fight. It’s shocking to consider that Australia is becoming more and more like a totalitarian state… Or perhaps it was a corporate job?

I would guess it was a corporate job, Anyway, it is a frightening and distressing development.

The Market Is The Problem, Not Government

Most of you probably do not know that I used to manage global fixed income money and work on Wall Street, nor that I have written op-ed for The NY Times, Barrons and others.

The waste, inefficient and bloat are not a big problem in government, they are a huge problem in the market which is ripping us for trillions of dollars annually for years, as I note in the following article published in Counterpunch today.

The Musk and Trump cuts to government programs are part of a larger movement towards ‘free markets’ began a little over fifty years ago when we abandoned fixed exchange rates (rates set by the government) in favor of floating exchange rates (the Float). In other words, the government past the decision making for determining the rate of exchange between two currencies to the market (those buying and selling currencies).

The Float was a watershed moment. It began a shift away from government in favor of business and letting the market sort it out. This coup was a victory for the Johnny Appleseed of free markets, Milton Friedman. The Friedman Doctrine held that business had no social responsibly except to maximize profits.^[1] He felt government programs initiated by FDR to help the average American, such as the minimum wage and Social Security were wrong.^[2]

Labor who had benefitted from New Deal programs like the Wagner Act saw their power begin to wane; while business gained. Conservative and pro-business groups like the United States Chamber of Commerce began advocating for market-based solutions, arguing government regulations and taxation were business impediments.^[3]
