Busy Season, Ancient Ruins Reveal Something Special

 Friends,

With the leaves falling and frost killing the ground cover, my busy season of scouring the land looking for stone structures has begun and will not end until early May. I am writing asking for suggestions,  places I should investigate on public grounds in the northeast that contain stone structures. Please post a picture and location and if I decide to investigate I will invite you along. I can dowse the picture to determine if it merits study.

It does not have to be pristine or an extravagant location with lots of stone structures. Rather the simplest, the dilapidated, barely noticeable places that often contain the most remarkable things such as Earth Magic in the form of Energy Vortices, Blind Springs… Below is a  a video of a survey I did with Peter Shell this past week. It shows what is posible. While the place had some large stone structures most of it had been  buried with Earth over the eons. But it contained an Energy Vortex, Blind Spring and even a Thin Veil that brought a remarkable encounter with the Other Side.

Followup to See Delaware County's Stone Columns Leads to US Getting Lost

 I went back to Delaware County where I was back in April  http://motherearthprayers.blogspot.com/2023/04/survey-delaware-counties-stone-columns.html to do a survey with my friend Peter. See the video below. We found lots of stone structures, unfortunately we did not find the stone columns. The vegetation blocked our views.

We found lots of stonework; regrettably we found lots of decapitated stone columns that that had their topes removed. Sad.

WE also got lost and had to use our compass to get out. It was very tough going because we were forced to wake through heavy thickets laden with ferns, briars, small trees and more. Still it was a great day.

Grafton NYS Park, Hennig Preserve Surveys Part 1

I had a chance this Columbus/Indigenous Day to survey the stone structures at Grafton New York State Park in Grafton, NY and Hennig Preserve in Middle Grove, NY. Both places are located in the greater Capital District of NY.

We found several stone mounds/structures on earth and energy formations, some in a manner we have not found, or noticed, before. It was a great learning experience. Grafton had a very sweet area with a great vibe, Fields of Consciousness and a lot more. Hennig displayed different ways to mark features in ways we had not seen before.

I had a chance to finally connect with Lorna Reichel who is an Energy Wellness consultant who works with subtle energies. She brought along her magnometer and other energy measuring devices to measure the strength of the earth energies. For some time I have been wanting to get her input on the stone structures that I find in the woods.

Survey of Sacred Sites in Downstate NY, PART VII--Estelle Weed's Woods and its Many Stone Structures

Early on Saturday morning I had a chance to survey Estelle Weed's property. I had stayed at Estelle's Friday night. I met Estelle through Wayne May of Ancient America magazine. When I told Wayne that I was going to speak at the ASD (American Society of Dowsers) conference in New Paltz, NY he said I should contact Estelle who had been telling him about some structures on her property.

I contacted Estelle and told her I would gladly look at her property if she would be willing to let me crate my dogs at her place during my lecture at the conference. She said yes, but also said I could stay at her place. A refrain she continued with in subsequent conversations. Fortunately, I accepted her offer.

Why was I fortunate? Because her house has a positive vibe. As my connection to Mother Earth has deepened my aura has grown progressively larger and I have become increasingly sensitive to space. Public spaces, hotel beds where different people sleep for hours on end  can be very pernicious. I often carry bags of prayer stones with me when I travel to protect me from negative spaces and detrimental energies.

While Estelle's property did not have an large stone structures it was loaded with Manitou Stones; as either single stand alone or in groups. More importantly there were several large pockets with a positive VIBE. SWEET!

 A single stand alone Manitou Stone. Staffs mark the intersection of Energy Lines at the Manitou Stone. Notice how sunken the stone is, from millennia of debris accumulating and decaying around it.

 A grouping of stones that includes a Manitou. Staffs mark a few of the many Energy Lines that pass through the grouping. My sportswomen's cushion marks where I imagine pilgrims sat to soak up the energies.

 Estelle is standing with her daughter Sandy. Estelle is a lively spiritual person. She had a Near Death Experience as a child and several other close calls later. She is very spry at 87. What little experience I have had with people that have had NDE's is that they are lovely live wires that beam. When I first met Estelle, even before we talked, I could sense that she was a very vibrant and loving person. 

Here I am.

There are hundreds of Manitou Stones and other stone structures on Estelle's property. I imagine many more have been covered up over the years from decayed leaves, dead trees and other debris.

So the question becomes; how many stone structures or single stones marking Earth Energies or aspects of Mother Earth's unseen body are out there in North America alone?

Tens of millions, hundreds of millions, billions....???????

Manitou Stone at Norwich's Mt. Hope Cemetery

On the way home from my survey last Friday in Norwich I stopped by to say hello to my friend Joe at work. He told me I should check out the stone structures behind Mt. Hope Cemetery; he had mentioned this to me years ago.

I went to the cemetery thinking the stone structures were located just behind the cemetery. I ended up climbing the hill behind the cemetery for about 30 minutes to get to the top. I was unprepared, wearing sneakers and brought no water with me. But it was well worth it.

I don't think that I found the stone structures Joe's friend had told him about. I did find several large stones; many marking Energy Lines. More time was needed to determine whether it was just coincidence, or that the stones were intentionally placed. My recent ongoing survey of the Ledges Area has taught me to consider Energy Lines in my geomancy and survey of sacred sites and stone structures.

There are several large stones and piles of stones are on the top of the Hill. There is nothing extraordinary about many of  them.

 Then I saw this Manitou Stone. An upright stone buried in the ground with a gravestone type of shape. Notice the stone next to the Manitou stone on its lower right next to it, intersecting it at an angle. It marks an Energy Lines coming into the Manitou Stone at that precise angle, as I show below.

 Notice the Maintou Stone in the upper center and the surrounding stones.

Red Lines marks the Energy Lines coming into the Manitou Stone. Notice how Energy Lines connect the stones. Also notice how one Energy Line intersects the Manitou Stone perpendicuallarly while another intersects it parallellly--as if it came in one should blade area and went out the shoulder blade on the other side.

 I have marked another Manitou Stone M2. Notice how it is connected to the original Manitou Stone (M1) and that one Energy Line bisects it perpendicularly and other bisects it parallellly.

 I found the above line of large Stones on my way out.

The red lines show Energy Lines. Notice how the stones outline the Energy Lines. Interesting but no conclusive proof that this was intentionally done as with the Manitou Stones above.

It was a great day and a wonderful chance to explore a new area. Thanks again Joe.

The Woods are Full of Sacred Sites and Stone Structures--A Return to the Onondaga Trail

Yesterday I returned to the Onondaga Trail to dowse and photograph the stone structures I mentioned a little over a week ago in my post The Woods are Full of Sacred Sites and Stone Structures.

The stone mound that I thought might be covering Earth Chakras did not. But we did find lots of interesting things.

We found many of what I call Manitou Stones, or standing stones, embedded in the earth, either vertically, or at an angle. There were several of them near the Onondaga Trail in and around the area of the Common Place Land Trust. None of them were on aspects of Mother Earth. We wondered if they marked something, such as a trail, ....?

The earthen and stone mound that I suspected was on a Field of Consciousness(FOC), was indeed on a FOC. It covered a stacked Field of 8 (S8),  in that 8 Fields were stacked upon each other. Given the stones, and the placement (and the most potent part of the FOC) it may well be an old Spirit Keeper mound.

We had a lovely meditation on the stone mounds and in the process reinvigorated and charged them up. This process fortifies the Spirit Lines (Ley Lines) that originate from the Field of Consciousness. These Spirit Lines then carry a more potent dose of Christ Consciousness on their journey to distant parts of the world (Mother Earth.) Excellent.

As I have said many times before We need Mother Earth to achieve our (humanity)  highest potential and She needs us to achieve Hers. Praying/meditating/ceremony/selfless acts clean and fortify space, in this case Spirit Lines.

On the way out I found two Manitou Stones on either side of the two trees straddling the trail close to the Fields of Consciousness. Interesting. Further investigation revealed that they marked some sort of oblong shaped aspect of Mother Earth associated with Fields. They were perfectly located either end of the oblong shaped aspect.

When I found this structure my attention then focused on several  large flat stones placed on the trail. Stones that may have been removed from a sacred structure.

Please,
NEVER MOVE STONES IN THE WOODS, PLACE THEM ON WET SPOTS ETC., ON A TRAIL, UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR SURE THAT THEY WERE NOT STRATEGICALLY PLACED THERE FOR A PURPOSE.
In other words, let things be.

Mother Earth is wonderful and ancient cultures knew how to connect and work with Her.

The Woods are Full of Sacred Sites and Stone Structures

I spent the past two days hiking sections of the Onondaga Trail (part of the Finger Lakes Trail System.) Yesterday I brought my dowsing rods along, today I forget them in the car. Which is unfortunate because I found two stone mounds that appeared to be aligned on aspects of Mother Earth.

Today my focus was not finding stone structures. But when I stopped to sit down and eat a sandwich I saw an earthen pile containing several large flat stones and what I call a manitou stone (a stone vertically implanted in the earth.) I went over and looked at it, and  felt like a Field of Consciousness (emanates consciousness and Spirit/Ley Lines pass over and absorb the consciousness and travel around the world.) It is highly likely that this was an old Spirit Keeper site. Later on the way back I meditated on it.

I also found a pile of stones, with the large ones on top, over some sort of energy formation of Mother Earth. It felt very distinct, but such sensations can be confused with negative imprints.

It is written that when settlers began migrating west they found thousands of earthen mounds. Unfortunately, farmers, treasure hunters and urban sprawl wiped them out. A few still stand as I have noted, with my posts on Serpent Mound and the mounds at Long Branch park at Onondaga Lake.

But much still remains.

Over the years I have found hundreds of stone and earthen structures ( as well as farmers piles); several quite intricate. Just about all these mounds were meant to tap into and connect with Mother Earth, or to enhance Her. These stone structures are in remote places, in difficult to access areas such as gorges, or steep inclines. I have only scratched the surface.

I imagine that there are thousands if not tens of thousands of stone structures still standing in New York and much of the northeast. They are small, nondescript, sometimes only a flat stone in the earth strategically placed on an aspect of Mother Earth. 

I encourage you to learn to connect with Mother Earth and develop the ability to sense and feel Her many emanations. Learn how to dowse with an emphasis on Mother Earth. The woods, the parks, the Nature places near you probably have stone structures. Places that you will have for yourself; places where you are your own personal guide. These are ancient and precious places where you can meditate, pray or do ceremony and hopefully tap into old imprints that still cling to them and help deliver you a mystical experience, or raise your consciousness.

I encourage you to explore on your own.

I will make sure to bring my dowsing rods and a camera with me next time and post pics of my finds; So that it may encourage you to help reinvigorate these divine places and in the process nourish you.
